The decorated cows and frogs are a new one on me.

We usually go to the local scarecrow festival which is a similar idea.  People interpret the word scarecrow very loosely.  I have seen Spiderman ones on the side of a house, Little Red Riding Hood next to a children's playhouse with a wolf lying in a bed inside the playhouse etc.

I can't stand the taste or texture of fat, but don't have a problem with Doners, although i tend to have a spicy chicken kebab.

I don't like goat-the way it just slides down yor throat and all that nasty fat off that big ol' bone.

You know, actually here in America most Indian restaurants are owned by Banglas, so we're really eating Bangladeshi food here.....it took me forever to convince my brother that they DID serve beef at the Indian restaurant in OKC  :P

This reminds me of the 100 Leap Frog statues in Erie, Pa.....have any of you been up there to see them?  They are painted frog statues (each are different), and they are all over the city of Erie, Pa....each is done by a different artist.....they are apart of a launch called LeapFrog Lake Erie Art Project....and their main purpose is to promote community pride...check out the website..it's worth a look

here are 2 examples of how some of the frogs look:

But my rememberer is broke.

To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke.

For when I'm "here," I'm wondering
If I really should be "there."
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!

Oft times I walk into a room,
Say, "what am I here for?"
I wrack my brain, but all in vain
A zero, is my score.

At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
generally is me!

When shopping I may see someone,
Say "Hi" and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I ask myself "who was that?"

Yes, my forgetter's getting better
While my rememberer is broke,
And it's driving me plumb crazy
And that isn't any joke.

I went up in March 2002, around the time when the Queen Mother died. While up in the London Eye, we were following the long queue for the QM which started in Westminster, crossed Lambeth Bridge and was ending up at the National Theatre. Yes, it was a fine day for the weather we I and family went up.

O well - perhaps that wasn't so funny.

Sharon Cohen (Dana International) represented Israel in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest and won with the song "Diva".
Her delegation had already led to great controversy in her homeland, as Dana (or Sharon) was born male (Yaron Cohen). Transsexuality and orthodox Jews - well, they don't exactly match, as one can easily imagine.
Her victory in the Song Contest was also controversial, as she's not a very talented singer.

But now we're seven years later and Dana has fallen into oblivion.

Good morning to you too, and I think you're time is up...

1998 was one of those years where there wasn't a clear winner. It was a close tie, Dana getting 172 points with runners up Imaani (Where are you?) with 166 points and Chiara (Malta, The one that I love) with 165 points.
We ended up fourth, with Edsilia Rombley's Hemel en aarde (Heaven and earth) with 150 points.

Well, you've beaten the French...by a whisker! Still, better than Jemini... ;)

That gorgeous lady who read out the Dutch vote is called Nance, last name Coolen. Some 10 to 15 years ago she used to be in this band called Twenty 4 Seven. After that she started a solo career (mid 1990's) which wasn't as successful. Nowadays she's a gameshow host on Dutch public broadcasting. Don't have her address, though...
Helpful enough?

I hate the Eurovision Song Contest. All the songs are always really really bad nowadays. I don't even know why people bother any more  :P

Vaguely remember them - 'I Can't Stand It No More (No No No) springs to mind...

Never underestimate me...I should be able to stalk her from that info'...!!

Beats Dana any day of the week...!!

I'm never any good at doing things previously. I always leave them til the last minute - literally!!! Like on Wednesday I had to present my art project at 10:45, instead I finished stuff that I shoulda done weeks before hand and ended up presenting it 15 minutes late. If that's not leaving it til the last minute, I don't know what is  :D
Gets me by, though
