practice tonight..making beef broccoli stir fry tonight...ummmmm...pay bills and post.  my life is full.

Pick my daughter up from school, go to an "Open House" at the school I'm hoping to send my son (2 days a week...I wonder if he can do it, he's so attached to me.), come home, help daughter with homework, cook, bathe the kids and watch TV.  My hubby is going to be out of town tonight and tomorrow, so I'm on my own.

Well, my class for today was cancelled, so I'm going to be hanging around school doing absolutely nothing of interest. I may take some pictures though, which I will post when I go home this weekend. Haha.

Going out to dinner and then going to see the Woods Tea Company. These guys are great. If you get a chance to see them, I HIGHLY recommend it. They put a great show. There CDs are very good, too.

Yes, the time has come. I'm taking our boy Davey to the airport. His NYC stay is over.

It was back to work after the Bank Holiday break, and it was a long day too.

I WALKED to the Kmart because the boy needed juice and it was on sale over there. I also hit up the Dollar Tree and bought a bunch of stuff.

Did some odds and ends around the house before leaving for work. Now I'm at work, but it's been not too busy today.

I am working today (as usual) and then going to the movies (our local art house theatre) and watching "The Illusionist" with my co-worker/friend.

I went to eat at the best Mexican restaurant in town, Don Juan's.  Our waitress was a cute Mexican girl, maybe about 19 or 20.. I held eye contact with her, I dunno why, but we both did every time she caame up to the table..it was a strange feeling, but pleasant..almost intoxicating in a way.

My mam's gone out, so I may go downstairs and watch TV for a while later... it's not very often I get control of the TV in this house after 9pm  ;D

I stayed up until 7:30am last night or this morning playing cards with me pals. I'm whupped

Well, after demolishing the wall in the kitchen yesterday, I will be using the bricks I salvaged from that to brick up the space where the window in the other wall used to be. I've completed about half of the job and am rather exhausted so I am currently working on my other task which is to learn the 5 songs I have to sing at my audition tonight.

Another day of having nothing planned, besides work tonight, obviously. Thankfully, all the kids in the street go back to school tomorrow, which means today could be the last day (until the october holidays) where I have to be tormented by them running around next door's garden

Stayed home all day. For most of the day I got myself prepared for beginning classes tomorrow; I also mowed the lawn in the back (that needed to be done)...so I've kept myself busy. :)

Worked hard all day.

Got up at 7 and started mixing concrete, cleared out the final bits of rubble from the gap between the kitchen and the dining room. Laid concrete and bought the floors to be about half level, insulated the cavity between the top of the flat extension roof and the ceiling of the kitchen. Capped off the pipes running to the faucet outside then mixed mortar and bricked up the uneven sides of the cavity gap.

Walked 4 dogs, went to the dog shelter and saw a few I liked, I'm holding out for that one special pup though.

Mucked out the horse and groomed her then came home and collapsed in to my chair.  ;D

I'm ready for a hot shower, a hot woman and a cold beer.

I'm gonna straighten up the house today.  At 1 o'clock I have to pick up my 2 year old from his first day of "school".  At 3 o'clock I need to pick up my daughter.  Then we'll just come home and hang out.

Today I begin my fall semester. :)

Went to the chiropractor and then picked the cat up at the vet. YAY!!! He is better but still not out of the woods yet. They sent the bloodwork off today so hopefully, we will know more in a few days. He is eating (and keeping it down) and is VERY vocal (which is not like him) to let us know that he is VERY happy to be home.

I woke up, had breakfast, got washed and ready, posted on here for a while, had a kickabout in the park with some friends, went along to my nana's house for some lunch, came home then went to the town with another friend, had a McDonald's in the town with said friend, came home and went back to friend's house and played on computer, went around fish & chip shop with friends, had a small game of football for about 20 minutes, friend had to go out for a meal, came home and had a 2-hour nap, woke up, logged onto InThe00s.com and started posting, currently writing this reply  ;)

My only plans for tonight are watching Lost at 11pm, then I might come back on here

Today, instead of being outside in the gloriously sunny weather, I have to stick around my apartment and wait for a repairman to come and fix my phone line. It died last night, but it didn't take the DSL with it. Odd.

Funnily enough, I had to fix the phone system here the other day, it wasn't too difficult, but the weird thing is, like your problem, the phone line was dead, but the DSL stayed on.  ???


So anyway, today I once again took the gang of dogs (4 of them) to the fields by the river and we played for hours, then I put in a support beam under the flat roof.. basically, to stop the roof falling down. Removing the acro-props was the hardest part, those things are freakin heavy!

I just filmed the cutest little woodpecker pecking away at the tree outside my son's window. That wasn't planned for this day, but it was still cool. :)

I'm fortunate to have a team that's been together for 26 years and affords me the opportunity to play. It's hard to get back in the game when you get older, but since I've been playing steadily 2-3 nights per week, it's easier. You'd just need to get back into shape, a couple months of practice & play  and you'd be game ready.  :)
