Well I just got back from Brussels (Belgium),spent a day there with my sister just enjoying the city and window-shopping.

It is raining again.  Today we are going to have a family sit down to discuss my sisters impending hip-replacement.  She will have it in August, but since she lives and takes care of my mother, who has dementia we are going to have to make some decisions on my mothers care during and after the operation.

Rain has put a damper on my outside plans today, so probably hang out here most of the day.  Just got a good laugh at the dog though, she wanted out, saw the rain, didn't want out, did, didn't, she cracks me up. Finally had to make her go out, then looked out and saw her sitting on the tiniest little dry spot on the porch she could find.  ;D  I've never seen another Lab that didn't like water.

Nothing too serious, Rhonda. My nose has been blocked up for some years now and I am suspecting polyps. The doctor is checking up on it and we'll see how it goes from there.

Visited my nana for the first time in a-g-e-s, and also went along and saw my other nan for the first time since she came back from holiday in Greece (She came to our house a couple of days after she came back, but I was at work). They're both fine, thankfully  :)

Apart from that, just watching more of the World Cup. Going to bed when I feel tired enough to sleep, but I have a feeling it may be difficult with the heat

For today: I did a load of laundry. I called my sister to wish her a happy birthday (she wasn't home so I have to try again later). I called a friend to wish her a happy birthday (she was home and we talked for a bit). Then got into a shower. I also have a chiropractor appointment this afternoon. That is pretty much my day.

I went to work, got off early so i could make it to my softball game which we started, but didn't get to finish because our second baseman and the other teams centerfielder got into a fight, both teams were on the field trying to break them apart, and then the brothers of each player decided to get in on the brawl and it got a little crazy. The umpires called the game a tie, and we didn't get to finish. I'm gettin too old for this crap yet was right in the middle trying to break em up  ;D  ;D

It's up in the North Georgia mountains near the border with Tennessee.  It is not going to be fun and I'm probably not going to like it.  I hate road trips and I hate spending forced quality time with my family.  We put the "fun" in dysfunctional.

Don't get me wrong, I love my family.......but I hate the idea of being forced to do things with them.  Thank God I have my iPod otherwise it'll be a long drive.

We must have yours because we have broken records with the amount of rain we have gotten, flooding and all that, but today is a real nice day.  Sunny and hot.  Jake is going shopping with his auntie and I have time off to myself, which means catching up on cleaning and shopping for necessities(not for fun).

I have not achieved much today.

We just got back from Ellijay.  You know, I had a really nice time.  It's absolutely GORGEOUS up in the foothills of the Appalachians and while there are a ton of winding roads, on a day like today, it was beautiful scenery.  My sister took some great pictures, so hopefully sometime tonight I'll upload them for you all to look at. 

The restaurant we had lunch in was this little Cajun place tucked away in the sticks and they had really good food; I thought we were never going to get there, though.  I had to use the restroom so bad.....I wanted to die.  Ugh.

I went to funeral for friend yesterday up in the bay area hills. It was beautiful. It was packed with people from work and I saw so many old friends I used to work with. I felt somewhat like Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in WEDDING CRASHERS as I noticed funerals can be total babe-rich-environment. Pretty sick huh?  anyway I spoke to my deceased friends hubby and gave my condolences, and met his sons and saw at least 20 people I used to work with I hadn't seen in years.  A sad way to get together but a reunion nonetheless.  8)

Today we are taking the Downeaster(Amtrak) to Old Orchard Beach in Maine.  It is 1 1/2 hours up, 1 1/2 hours home and 2 hours at the beach.  We love the train trip(everyone gets to look out of the window, no one gets tired of driving) and the beach is two blocks from the station. Arcades, rides, candy, all that good stuff.

Took my dad out to a Father's Day brunch at a Mexican restaurant, and then we came home.

Well....we drove 14 hours yesterday to get home from vacation....needless to say, I was exhausted and quite crabby last night.  I got to sleep in and we picked up Vaughn today at my parent's house. Vacation was lovely and well appreciated....it's crappy that it is over...but I guess it's good to be back. :)

If I can spare the dough, I might go on 'vacation' in about a week or so...no biggie, just maybe for 4-5 days, but it'll be nice to get away from the city again.

Today I have been working on unpacking and doing laundry. I have to go to the bank and the grocery store later.

:Dtoday is a big day for me im supose to be taking my final but i decided to take a lil break...my brain hurts!!! :o

Well..

Today I already managed to do something nasty to my foot.

The dogs food is kept in a big ass sack in the doorway to the kitchen. Now.. the doorway to the kitchen dosen't actually have a door in it and it's quite wide. Nevertheless, I manage to hit my foot on the dog food bag, every.. single.. day.
Today I got mad and the house was woken up to the sound of my shouting "You Big Green Cun.t!" "You Fuc.king Green Bastard!".
Anyway, the left part of my left foot has gone an interesting shade of blue/brown. It dosen't hurt though, so I guess that's a bonus.
I also had to pick up dog food from all over the kitchen due to the fact that after I'd whacked my foot in to the bag, I turned around and executed a perfect roundhouse kick with the other foot.. in to.. the food.

I do have constructive plans today, honest!
I think I'm gonna go for a haircut, do some of my laundry, wash the dogs bed and see what the deal is with the transmission on my car.

I am going to go to my Ninjitsu class, then I am goig to stay up all night studying for my Physics 4 final exam, and then I am going to go rock-climbing on the white cliffs of Dover with no safety line at midnight without a flashlight.
