Just working today. No day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I had a fantastic salad from Trader Joe's and usually I have a hard time devouring it, but today there seemed to not be enough. Yum Yum. I was listening to Pete Wilson on KGO and had a hard time leaving my car to go back to work and not hear the outcome of his show. Ah well.

I'm seeing my guy tonight and who knows what's in store!

Another very short school day (about 2 hours). Bought Lost season two part two. Went to work to help with easter eggs, came home feeling unappreciated (again), watched Lost season two part two episodes 13-25, followed by extra features etc, came on here for a while. Gonna go to bed soon because of the exam tomorrow morning  :(

Cheers. English re-sit from last year. Not too much pressure, because I previously got a D, which compared to some of the kids in my class is pretty good (the highest mark in the class was a B)

We all had the day off today (Martin Luther King Day in the U.S.). We took a walk on the beach, had lunch at a place in Ventura, came home, and celebrated 3 years of our adoption of our dog Chloe. (That's right, it was on this date in 2003 when we got her from Chihuahua Rescue.) In the morning I helped my mom bake a cake for the occasion. :)

Worked, and it was insane today, we were so bloody busy. Then went to play practice, where I sat with Erin and did nothing. Hopefully we'll actually practice my scenes soon...

Today was a "blah" day...I didn't really do anything. I hung out at my parent's house...and then came home and made dinner...and then went to drama practice.

I have finals tomorrow... at least my first two classes are cool.

I vacuumed the upstairs of my house this morning, watched a little TV, took the dog for a walk, had lunch, and now I am here on the puter.

I started really cleaning the house good...since we are going to be having tons of people over for the Super Bowl.

Woke up at 7:30am, got to work at 9:45, had a company paid lunch (a belated Christmas meal) and am getting off at 6pm and then rushing to school by 7pm and hopefully be outta there by 8 or 9pm.

Went to my school's job fair to check out the companies for full time jobs, and already I have an interview for tomorrow, which is from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Otherwise most of the other companies pointed me to their websites to upload my resume. I am also checking out the driver's handbook so I can prepare for the written part of my driver's test.

I wish the best with your new job prospects. I am currently looking at jobs in the medical field to help build my experience in that area and I SO do not know where to even start, yet I do have a bit of an idea..

Had a nice belated anniversary lunch with the hubster.  Our anniversary was Jan. 15th, but payday was today so...

Just made reservations to go to Puerto Rico. Yes folks, it is offical. We fly out on the 6th of Feb and will return on the 28th. I have been looking at flights for weeks now and figured out which one to take (I just didn't have dates). Carlos FINALLY told me which exact dates and as I went to book them-the price just went up.  >:(  So, I had to quickly come up with a Plan B. So, instead of flying into Ponce, we will be flying into San Juan. This has some advantages (and disadvantages). First of all, the price is about $100 cheaper than the orginal flight I picked out to Ponce. Also, we won't have fly one of those little prop-jobbers over the PR mountains (No more singing Peggy Sue, Badfinger  ;D ) and of course, the flying duration is shorter-which makes me very happy because I'm sure a lot of you know how much I really hate to fly. But the disadvantage is having about a 3 hour drive to (and from) my SIL's place. But, at least I won't be in a plane.

But, not to worry, my SIL is on-line so I will be able to check in from time to time but I probably won't be on for a long time. After all, there are beaches to hit and pina colodas to drink (not to mention poker to play with my SIL and FIL  ;D  ;D)

Well...Chris is getting out of work early today...and we are going to Pittsburgh for our anniversary celebration. We are going out to dinner and then to see Phantom of the Opera...I am pretty much stoked! ;)

lucky! I love Emil Villas, they have good ribs and pie and thats on my way home from work which reminds me, I get off work in 10min. FREEDOM!!!!  and maybe some ribs, dang that sounds good.
