Yesterday I saw Survivor ("Eye of the Tiger" singers for all you youngsters that don't know ;)) at a free concert. They kicked @ss.

Train show at the Shriners Auditoruim.  The do all sorts of train set ups and we watch them go round and round.

Went out on the town with my mate and his missus and his mate and his missus. I've had a bit to drink and I'm feeling a bit worse for wear but apart from that I'm okay.  ;D

I went to a wedding.. it was a lot of fun..

Went to the movies with some friends and saw The Brother's Grimm, which was a really random and crappy movie. Then we went to the arcade where Andrew forced me to play some zombie shooting game with him, and I wasted half of my tokens on it. Now I'm doing some posting and watching the Broncos - Colts game.

Let's see. I did some Lawn Mowing, weeding, painting, and then spent 3 hours clearing the driveway at the side of the house. It hasn't been used for about 2 years which is why it took about 3 hours to clear.

I work at a pawn shop. People bring their stuff in, we give them money for it, then resale it. We sell Video games, video game consoles, Movies, Cd's, Shirts, Action figures...stuff like that. Mainly just stuff you can't find too many places like the original Nintendo's and Atari's.

I'm currently sitting sweating like a pig. I've been outside painting the garage in the 95 degree heat since 10AM and am about half done now. Yup, we have a big Garage. However, this weekend with all the work i've done i've earnt what most guys my age would get in 2 weeks of flipping Burgers  ;D

Gotta take a 20 or so minute break though. I get heat stroke real easy (twice since i moved back here) so i usually take a 20 minute break for every 2 hours i'm in the sun.

Well, if you want my perspective on it, she's only 16, 17 in December, so it's not like they were going to be together forever, but that said, I know exactly how she feels, and it sucks! Today we went to church and then out to lunch with my grandparents....then we came home....I put V down for a nap and I fell asleep....and woke up 5 HOURS LATER!!  Chris was like, "Vaughn and I didn't think you were ever getting up" LOLOLOL! I haven't been feeling very well today...so sleep was a good thing. Well, V and I went outside and played for a bit, then we had dinner and he went to bed. I watched the season finale of "The 4400" and now I am here.

College was pretty good today. I had Algebra, and once again managed to understand about half of it. I of course kicked ass in Political Science.

Got up, read the paper, took a shower, got hubby off to the airport, took the oldest to his pitching clinic for baseball, came home so he could change, took the littlest one to the doctor, dropped off his prescription, ate dinner, picked up the prescription, got all the boys showered and in bed and am now "relaxing" here :)  Tomorrow, I get to run to the store, post office and bank (to pay the property taxes :() if the littlest one is feeling a little bit better :-\\

My hubby just fixed my 65 mustang... (only after I suggested that we sell it since it had been sitting in the garage for months) so today i need to get it insured and go to DMV for tags.  Then, hopefully take it for a drive to make sure it's running ok :)

Went to college earlier, fairly simple day. I am seriously enjoying History, i have an excellent teacher. In English i wrote a diagnostic.. about a bear  ;D It was more to do with how well we can right, than what we right about.

Well.. let's see. Belleville is about 25 minutes away and Scott is another 10 after that. Figure i can get there in Half an hour... around 30 miles.

Today Vaughn and I took Beth to work, then we had lunch together, ran some errands, and then got the car inspected...then we came home and I made dinner, gave Vaughn a bath, put him to bed...and now I am here.

Today I had school...again. Then I had cross country practice over at the nearby fairgrounds and my shoe began to fall apart. Then when I got home a spent over an hour trying to figure out why I like the humanistic perspective the best for psychology class. Now I'm working on Latin homework/posting.

How did you get on?  Great Lakes used to be REALLY strict about who could come to the PX.  One time, I took my brother up there to pick up some stuff and they wouldn't even let me in the store, even though we had the same last name, because I wasn't ex-military >:(

I went to work today and then went to college. She cut class a little short tonight, so that was nice :0)

Today I cleaned the house, went and bought some new guitar strings, walked the dogs, talked to my Dad, and then got online....I'll be going to bed in a little while, I have to work tomorrow... :P

I finally understood something in Algebra today. I was about the only person in the entire lecture thing to get it. It was all to do with converting Literal Expressions in to Logical Algebraic Formulae or something or other. Anyway, it was very straight forward, but apparently not for everybody.

There is hope for passing my test on friday yet  ;D

Only had to work half day today, since I have to work all weekend  :P  Hubby and the girls are going to a Bengals pre-season game tonight. We have 4 tickets, but I really didn't want to go.  He and the girls need a father daughter outing anyways!  :)

Oh you are sooo lucky! I love Chicago AND Earth, Wind, & Fire!! I saw Chicago in concert about 7 years ago...they were awesome! I have always wanted to see Earth, Wind, & Fire....but haven't been able to yet. I hope you have a GREAT time! You'll have to let me know how it was!

Well, Vaughn and I made it to the playground today and then we had lunch. We went shopping for a bit and I found him a really cute Scooby-Doo chair for his playroom. I also found this cool Fisher Price tape recorder with a microphone...but I am putting that one away for Christmas! It's never too early to start shopping! LOL!
Vaughn is going to his grandma's on Sunday instead of tonight...so right now, he is watching cartoons and I am posting for a bit.

Well, I worked from 12-6:30...it was SO boring, and completely dead--so my boss and I were shooting rockets across the store... which made the day go a lot faster.

Took Jake down to the Amtrak yard to see the trains, picked up tickets for our trip in February, a train from Boston to Los Angeles!  Went swimming in the neighbors pool, miniature golfing, supermarket.  Tomorrow we are taking the train from Haverhill to Old Orchard Beach.  It is not that I am full of energy or an entertaining parent.  It is just all the stuff I do keep from doing housework.  :)

Well....Vaughn was at his grandma's house today.....so Chris and I had a lovely day!  We went to this neat hibachi Japanese restaurant called, "Sho-gun" for an early dinner....it was delicious!  They cook the food right in front of you, it's really neat! It looked just like this:

But I think if you get in touch with Salvation Army or Good Will - they should be able to tell you where drop off points are. And Girl - they are taking everything they can get their hands on!!! I had bedding, clothing, shoes, board games, pots and pans, towels.... they need it all!!! ;)
