Oh I did meet them. We walked around to the chippy and I got my tea! Then we kinda just hung around in the park for a bit. We played a bit footie, but that didn't last long as everyone got bored. We just got off the boat. We went out yesterday, thinking we were going to use those "big white floppy things" but when it went up, they started to rip. The wind was whippin' and the rip was getting bigger. So much for sailing. So we anchored and enjoy some fishing. But then the Fish and Wildlife dudes came by-just to see if we had fishing licences. All was hunky dory. They saw how many fish we caught and asked if we had any more on board. I forgot to tell them about the cans of tuna and the shrimp dish we were going to have for dinner.  :D

Carlos noticed that the boat was facing the wrong direction from the wind. Remember the time when the anchor line wrapped itself around the centerboard, we didn't want to have to deal with that again. After fiddling around with it and it STILL didn't work right, we decided to go back to the mooring. So we spent the night at our mooring. We were thinking about doing a little sailing-with a rigged up jib (instead of using the ripped one) but the wind wasn't very steady so we decided to just come home.

Well....I went shopping a bit in the morning....then we attempted to go to my sister-in-laws baby shower today...but the car was acting up!! GRRRRRRRR!!  So...we went over to my brother-in-law's house and he looked at it, tightened a few things..and it seems to be running fine again.

We had a lot of rain here yesterday but it seems to have more or less stopped now.

We've got some workmen in at the moment drilling holes in the ceiling and it seems beyond them to put dust sheets down so all the crap is going over all our equipment.  I've mentioned it once and I'm not sure how to tackle it now.
