Went to the college campus and did volunteer work. Today I finished categorizing all the records (there were 478 total); when I go back I will run queries for each of the categories and create reports for each of the queries. That won't be tomorrow or the next day, though. Also, my supervisor decided to buy lunch for me and bring it back to the office so that I wouldn't have to go out in the hot hot sun. It was my birthday lunch. And when I got home, my mom prepared a nice birthday dinner for me: stuffed shells. (I love Italian food.) Then we had birthday cake and I opened presents. :)

watched the homerun derby, had a pizza hut pizza, last time they put almost no sauce on the pizza so this time i ordered extra sauce (it's free) and they put enough sauce on it to cover 3 pizzas  :D

Today Beth and I drove 3 hours to meet two of the most awesome people!! We met Andrew (Apricot) and Justin (Djork) and spent the day hanging out with them. It was a lovely day (very sunny and it made for a very nice drive there)....and it was an honor meeting 2 very nice guys!

The first time I ate it. I mean, I wasn't on the floor or anything, but my it definately cleared my sinuses (which no other food has ever done to me). After that, I made sure to smother it in Ranch dressing.
But you have to realize that for me there are only three spices. Salt, butter, and ranch dressing.  ::) ;D

In england you can get like cinnamon bar kind of things.
I guess they are similar to a Snickers but they have a real strong cinnamony taste to them.

It goes best with soft foods... like, bread.. cereal... sometimes, it even flavors drinks.. like chocolate milk.. WAAAAY better with cinnamon.

Mix Cinnamon and Sugar together and make your own donuts. :D

The photographer for the local paper came round to take a photo of me and chris for tomorrow, because of the accident and then I made breakfast and played theme hospital and now I am here....because the internet has come out of the x-box for a change (hence why i've not been on for a while!) Its going back in the xbox later though so I shall be on once in a while!
And later I'm going to have the night off work and chill out and have a bbq and thats about it!

I managed to sort it out. The prongs were too wide for the grooves and I had to force them in to fit - not obvious at all. But it's all done now and am happy that I have managed to assembly two lamps together, lol. I may start on something more adventurerous like how to turn the telly on . . . ::) ;D

I was sworn at by the Manager of the under 9 rugby team that was versing my son's team ::) Some parents really shouldn't be allowed out in public >:( Our team is undefeated and the other side really thought they were going to beat them. My son scored a really good try but got a knee in the nose and a bit of a black eye. He's okay though - a bit of ice did the trick. Did the grocery shopping and have had a quiet night in :)

I was sworn at by the Manager of the under 9 rugby team that was versing my son's team ::) Some parents really shouldn't be allowed out in public >:(
They had a short bit in the paper about a coach for little kids who paid a player $25 dollars to hit an eight
year old kid, one of his own players, with a ball so the kid couldn't play because he was metally
disabled. He has been charged and is going to court and I hope the parents of the kid sue him. >:(

Oh yuk! What a horrible person. ;) Great role model for kids hey! There was a story in the paper here a couple of years ago about a soccer coach telling his young players to aim the ball at a sleeping homeless person who was having a bit of a nap just near their training field. >:(

There is more to retail than being a clerk. I for one hate working with the public., but those retail places also need
window dressers, buyers, shipping and recieving. So if it is all that bad maybe you could look up some of the

Cool - I absolutely love buying people's old stuff too! I go to Thrift Stores alot, which is sort of the retail equivalent of garage/yard sales. :)

Today we went through a box of stuff...and found some of the things my mom used/picked up when she was in Europe 30 years ago, including maps and a travel log, amongst other stuff. We also found various maps and brochures of places we stayed at over the years, including maps that were very outdated. Also I did some laundry.

Took a ride up to Newburyport, then down 1A doing some antiquing. Stopped
at a make our own Ice cream stand and had Strawberry Shortcake Sundae with pick-our-own
strawberries-from-the-field-out-back on top of make-our-own-ice-cream, with whip-our-own whip cream.

Oh yeah, i fixed the air conditioning in my room, there was a load of crap in the vent.. weird.
Anyway, it's about 12 degrees cooler in here now and i don't even have the fan on.
I put the Temperature Gadge thingy in here and it decided that it was around 84 degrees in here.. it's about 72-73 now.
That probably explains why i've only been clocking 4-5 hours of sleep a night ;D

Unusual change of plans today... went to school at lunchtime only to see my friends getting into a taxi. Turns out that there was a funeral at 1:30 for one of the lads that went to our school, so I went along... with it being (i think) my first funeral, it was really depressing looking around and seeing everyone crying... It was a nice funeral though, and i'm glad I was there to pay my respects, even though I didn't know the lad too well...

Routine's been driving me up the wall...
Luckily, I've been at my cousins', as I've well documented. We just chilled around the house... did some TV-watchin', some video-game playin', some trampoline-jumpin'... we've been eating crazy stuff at weird times too... gonna sleep soon, probably from 4 or 5 AM until noon.. my dad's supposedly stopping by here after work to pick me up, so I ought to be home some time around 6 or 7.. however, our family tends to eat together, so we'll prolly get dinner before we go home completely.. so it might even be 7 or 8... 10 bucks my mom asks me to walk the dog within minutes of me arriving home...
By the way, I've noticed they play a lot of The Killers and Audioslave at this ungodly hour in the morning.. 6 times recently I've been up at this time and I've seen the videos for "All These Things I've Done" and "Be Yourself" at least 3 times every night I've done so.. especially The Killers {who video starts really cool, almost surreal, then just starts to suck}.

I have to take my daughter to the store to get school supplies today. She's in a year-round school and goes back next week. :D

Today I'm doing the usual sitting around doing nothing all day. This is one of the most boring summer vacations I've had.
