I find if I take any medication of any form it always makes me feel worse, i.e. drowsy, irratable, or just simple worse. So each summer if is best for me to take what comes.

Oh, I see. Some meds make me that way too. Jittery, hyper, then when it wears off, I'm so tired I just want to sleep.

So as I said, I take what comes, stay in if I can (usually studying anyway), its peak is the Wimbledon tennis finals weekend, but still hangs around.

Computer maintaince-scans, defrag, etc. Sounds like fun, huh? Of course doing all of this makes everything very SSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!

Today..nothing and lazed around. I watched a thing on CBS a docmentary about "The Rise" and Fall of UNLV basketball" when Jerry Tarkanian was their coach. If anybody remembers UNLV won the NCAA Basketball championship in 1990. In 1991 they lost 1 game all year to the Duke Blue Devils in the Final Four. Very interesting story.

Tommorow I am going to Englishtown to see the Drag Races. That should be fun. Also I have all of this coming week off.

it started out early...Chris, Vaughn, and I met my parents and sister for yet another community yard sale.....I found a bunch of neato things.....then my parents took Vaughn for the day and Chris and I spent the whole day together!! We went to our favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch, then headed down to Pittsburgh to go to the Carnegie Science Center and also the Sports Center. After that, we headed off to the driving range and hit some balls...then later we headed to Texas Roadhouse for a late dinner....it was a GREAT day!!! :)

I've just been for a walk and sat on a bench to clear my head.

Had to work half the day. We were going to cook out for fathers day, but for some reason, Tony thought breakfast would be good for dinner, so that's what he's getting. Sausage gravy and biscuits and eggs. Since he's going to cut the grass on fathers day, I guess I can cook him what he wants. . . . this time.  ;)

When my hubby wakes up I'll be making him breakfast.  Then later on today we'll be having Steak & Crab in our backyard (amidst construction...lol).  :D

I tried to call my dad today to wish him a Happy Father's Day, but he was napping.  I'll try again later.  :)

Well after hearing the weather report yesterday we planned to spend the day at the neighbors pool
sitting and relaxing BUT again the weather disappointed in a big way and it was way to cold so
we went for a ride to the ice cream stand instead.  It is never to cold for a hot fudge sundae with
frozen pudding ice cream whip cream and nuts.  :)

Went to the boat today. Didn't get the mast up like we planned. Didn't get the center board down like we planned (it is stuck-happens every year  ::) ). We even forgot to bring the resistration to put on it.  But I did find a 4-leaf clover-the very first one I have ever found.  ;D  Too bad it didn't give us luck in getting the boat ready to sail. Oh well.

Schools pretty much finished for the semester, so it's relaxation. Although I have 2 assignments due first week back (in 4 weeks time) which I should be doing this week.  :D

Today I stayed home; the contractors came to repair the squeaks on the upper floor of our house. My mom was home as well; in fact, she's been staying home from work this week since she's not feeling too good. She's been on a low-iodine diet for the past couple weeks.

What did I do today? I went to one of those singles things where you have several people of the opposite sex  and you have talk to all of them for a total of 6 minutes. That was pretty interesting and I went to TGI friday's afterwards. Ia so watched the "Cosby show" and Ful House. Finally, I did some laundry. Either I will go the shore tommorow or just sit home.

Slept in til' 11am, staggered around the house for 20 minutes, had breakfast, had school at 1pm, got back here just after 5, surfed the net, had dinner, went back on here, studied, and now I'm here again.

Yeah, I got up at 11:00am too. I've got to do the dishes in a bit and prepare my packed lunch for work (God! I hate work, lol).

I cycled to work today (sounds easy but with one child on a child seat and one in a trailer it was hard at times). 

I've taken some photos of research students to go on our website, discussed the last little bits of work that need doing on our new lab area and sorted out some other stuff.  I've got a lunch time meeting as part of a trades union committee and this afternoon I am going to a first aid refresher session.

Baked cakes for the girls this am - cooked some organic soya mince just now and it's bloody revolting - was hoping to have a nice spaghetti bolognaise for dinner now it looks like I'll have toast.  Oh well.    :P

Got up at about 8 (this was my lay in day lol) played in the back yard with Muzz and got her totally excited. She's a BIG Alsation, so maybe that wasn't all that wise  ;D

Did some of my laundry... living in the batchelor pad we all just do our own, i have worked out i own enough clothes to do one Laundry day every 12-14 days.

I took out the trash because i had the last can of Dr Pepper, thus ensuring i had to put the box in the bin which took it to full.  ::)

I have to go to the College later and fill out more sodding forms, this is like the third time.. and even if this is the last time for forms i still have to do a couple of tests.. Jeez, they don't make it easy.

Today i'm going to go see my friend, Natalie....we haven't been talking much lately, and I can't stand it anymore.

Watching the Tim Henman - Dimitri Tursunov match at Wimbledon

I so hope Tursunov wins - he's played some amazing tennis out there in the sweltering heat,
apparently he was coached in very high temps in Palm Springs for hours at a time and was brought up in Savannah so is used to the heat - but never mind the fantastic play including many aces and a 130mph serve - he is exceptionally gorgeous to look at..

btw, My friends, co-workers and I will be a marching colorguard in New York's Pride Parade on Sunday. The Youth Center marches in it every year. ;D

Judging by the weather, not much!

Today I'm going to do more volunteer work; yesterday my supervisor told me she wants the records organized by category (in addition to being alphabetized, like they currently are). I have planned how I'm going to do that; all I have to do is make queries for them, make reports based on the queries, and then make PDF files so that my supervisor can put them on the web.

I work today, that's about the extent of it.

I am security guard and I have to sit in my car for my shift. It gets hot in that car. The last place I worked at I sat in a building and it was nice.

I worked...it was a really slow day.

I'm probably going to do nothing, like always. I find it quite hard to plan things.  :-\\

In  no particular order...cookout, go swimming, take a nap, go to the store and watch tv. Lazy Sunday! :)

Sweat!  Not like yesterday, though, when it was hotter and we had to do alot of work on the machine
at work, outside.  Today, maybe the pool or go to the ocean and eat ice cream. :)

I'm off to my parents for breakfast and to give my mother her birthday present a day early :)

Welll I watched a couple episodes of Law & Order Special Victims Unit and then watched the NASCAR race. My Fave driver Rusty Wallace finished 4th in the NASCAR race. I did a little laundry and set up my new alarm cock too. Usual Sunday.

It is my mum's birthday today, so I had to get her a CD and, since they were on a 2 for £4 offer, two bunches of flowers...and I also bought myself a cinnamon swirl :P

The parade was a blast! The music and the drag queens were great. Although people cheered for us when were marching in midtown (manhattan) when we got to the village people started chanting the name of my youth center, because were are better known there.
My favorite moment in the parade was when about a mile into it the 90 degree weather started killing us, Then out came a herd of people in Pepsi T-shirts handing us Pepsi and water!!
My legs are still aching from the march but it was worth it. :)

Today I'm heading for the Catskills New York for a 4 day retreat with my co-workers from the youth center. We all need a break.
The NYC heat :-[..whew.

I'm glad you had a great time and I hope you have a great (and safe) trip. Just curious where in the Catskills. That is the area I am orginally from and my mother still lives up that way. Have fun and stay cool.

In about ten minutes I have to go online and register for fall-semester classes. I won't be taking too full of a load in the fall, since I will probably have technical training the rest of the week. I have switched my major to Liberal Studies, and I still need to take a literature class to complete a degree in LS. So if I sign up for that class, I won't be around here much during the Fall semester.

Much of the usual stuff today, but later in the afternoon I'll be taking my daughter to her school to get more uniform shirts and also to find out her teacher/class for 5th grade.  :)

My day was spent watching a movie Streets of Fire then taking a nap then going outside and cooling off in the pool. I think I am water logged.  ;D

Repairing the mid-floor. Water is getting through from upstairs and making a mess on the kitchen floor downstairs.  :o
It took all of 5 minutes to do.  ;D

tonight i went out to dinner with some friends.

Well...I wasn't able to enroll in any classes yet...there were some problems with the system so I'm gonna try again tomorrow.

On a positive note, my mom is officially off her low-iodine diet now! She had a scan today with successful results. :)

Well...today I went to the college (where I still am) to get that thing straightened out. See, I had tried to register online for classes yesterday but ran into some problems because of a "hold" on my records. I got that straightened out, and hopefully the "holds" will be removed so I can register with no trouble.

Like the past few days it has been work and study only, for not being able to use the computer (due a virus), hopefully is back to normal now.
