Just crawled out of the bath, ready to attack another working week...

Went to the pics with my mates, well that was PART of a very busy day. Got up at 11:30, realised I was supposed to meet them at 12:00, so quickly shoved some clothes on and ran for the bus (which I ended up missing). Arrived at the meeting point half an hour late, found nobody was there. texted everyone, found they were halfway to the pics, so i said i'd meet them there. got there and we all went to see Revenge Of The Sith (very good film, thoroughly enjoyed it, btw  8) ). Afterwards we went to macdonalds for dinner, pigged out on all sorts of crap, then we decided for some random reason to go bowling, we had a few games (I finished about 3rd in every game apart from one where I finished second), then we just aimlessly walked around the town for a bit before getting bored and all going home. Currently debating about whether to stay on here and catch up with what i've missed or go and watch Coldplay live on MTV.... hmm, decisions decisions  ::)

Doing ironing of all things!!!! I have now sorted out my whole pile from last weeks laundry marathon (as I am still wearing different clothes everyday it's been a bit of a struggle to keep it down).

Hi everybody, I'm back.

First of all, I left on Friday for meetings for the weekend, meetings started at 7 pm on Friday night, yesterday they went so well, we all thought we would be out of there and on the way home by 12 this afternoon, but we didn't finish until after 7 this evening. After that I had a 2  1/2 hour drive to get home. Got home about an hour ago and I am so tired.

i fell at work with a glass coffee pot in my hand and spent all day in emergency with 12 stitches in my wrist :-\\ not a good day they thought i needed surgery but thank god i didn't :)

I went to go buy new shoes At Playless Shoe store, went to the bookstore and read about cars. Watched the NASCAR Race. My Favorite Driver Rusty Wallace finished 5th at Dover today. I went to a Comedy Club too. Overall a busy day. Back to the old grind tommorow. I will wash clothes and call an old friend where I used to work at tommorow. Go to work! Don't like that part of the day at all.

Just got a call from work... and it's good news for a change... i'm not working tonight!!! Yeeeeeyyyy!
I'm working tomorrow night, though, but I don't mind, infact, I prefer working tomorrow night instead of tonight  :)

I used to have one once a month which I referred to as my "monthly endulgence" but it is really a necessity with me. I do have cronic back pain which I really don't know why. I could have been from many years of doing back bends as kid (which I can't do now) or it could have been from a car accident I got in when I was in my 20s or it could be from sitting at the computer all day.  :-\\ Who knows. Either way, I usually have back pain but some days are definately worse than others.

Today I visited a Technology Development Center in Ventura, a place where I can possibly get some hands-on training in computers. Then I came home, and had to run a scan on our home computer, which is why I haven't been around very much today.

Well today..

I am gonna go get some new headphones.. and try and get them for free because the latest ones broke after like 2 freakin weeks.

Then i'm gonna play football.

At 6pm I'm going along to watch Chris race.

He's in a quick six mile race.

Have been helping with an experiment at work measuring sweat levels on the body.  It happened to be a friend of mine as the participant although I didn't know that before he came here.

Tonight, cook dinner (sausages and mash) and then try and get the kids into bed on time.  After that sort out all the house stuff like washing, ironing, tidying up etc.  Also check I have the costumes and make-up etc together for Elizabeth's dance show which starts tomorrow.

Today we are going to my cousin's son's 1st birthday party.

Today went to the beach while it was still sunny, had a great time on the beach, then we came back and had a wander through town and I finally remembered to pick up Coldplay's newest album and a few others that I liked, then the weather clouded over so we all went home at about 4ish, and when I came home I fell asleep, and my mam's just woke me up. Currently sitting on here listening to 'parachutes'  :)

Finally put the Big Dog in the water. It was so hot that I started to get heat exhaustion. I guess we aren't used to the heat up here yet because it was a very cool spring and then it turned HOT really fast.

Well, had my last exam for 2 weeks today, and it was easy as anything. Afterwards, me and my friends met Jenny and her friends down the park again. My daughter's dance show went well last night.  She is in 3 dances and has to sing a very small solo in one of them.  Apparently last night the timing of her first line was slightly off. She keeps forgetting to leave a long enough pause between the first two lines which everyone sings and her two lines.  ::)

Great way to spend a saturday afternoon. Picking through other peoples junk!  ;)  I know I really don't need half the stuff I buy, but I love antiques and you can find some really good stuff. Better than driving around to yard sales all day.

This evening I had my monthly Diners Club dinner at a restaurant in Camarillo called Ric's. It's rather expensive to eat there, but we all had a good time. There were 14 people there including me. I was sitting facing the big screen TV's which had the baseball games on; the Angels-Mets game on one, and the Twins-Dodgers game on the other...neither one of my local teams won. :-[ But overall I had a wonderful time socializing with everyone. :)

Today I will be attending my Grandmama's suprise birthday hullabaloo. Considering the likings of my family - it should be rather dysfunctional. I can promise I'll have a front row seat, to witness the sheer anarchy of it all...

I have just woken up so not much has happened yet.

Promised the young one a train trip, so we will go on a quick trip to Providence, (Rhode Island).  It is
a half hour on Amtrak, which he has an obsession with(Amtrak, not Providence).  It lets us out at a big
Mall and we can hang around for an hour or so then take the train back.  Then, since it is going to be in
the 90's and humid, I expect we will end up over a Margarets(neighbor) pool trying to keep cool.  All in
all it should be a good day. :)

Alumni weekend at the college ended this morning with a champaign breakfast. They did have a tethered hot air balloon but by the time we got there, they had run out of gas so we didn't get to go up in it.  :\'(  The food was good but they did run out of orange juice so I couldn't have a second glass of mamossa (had to settled for streight champaign-I hate when that happens.  ;) ) Then we said good-bye to my step daughter and granddaughter. Now we have the house to ourselves once again.

The essays I have do normally do have a limit, like my last one was 350 to 500 words. I think my total for the one was about 480, well under is limit.

Right, it was my nana's birthday yesterday and she was having a bbq, so I went down to see her yesterday, that's why I wasn't on the boards.
It was mad! Me, my cousin and my cousin's mates sat and drank until the early hours of this morning! But i'm really really tired because I went to bed at 3:30am, and fell straight to sleep, but because there were 2 beds and 4 of us sleeping, I got woke up by everybody else coming to bed and I couldn't get back to sleep because they all fell alseep and started snoring really loudly!
In the end, I gave up and went downstairs to sleep on the couch. Finally dropped off at 5am(ish) and woke up again at midday, so i'm not feeling too chuffed today!  :D
Really really enjoyed the party, but there was too much happened to tell you all so let me just say it was absolutely MAD!  :D ;D :D

Surprisingly, no injuries! Apart from when we all got a bit drunk and started having a rave in the sitting room with the lights out! Everyone was rugby-tackling and slamming each other onto the floor! It was mad but funny  ;D

let's see....tonight we took Vaughn to this crappy fireman's fair down the road from us.....chris spent $7 on a crappy game to try to win Vaughn a prize...he ended up winning him an imitation "Nemo" fish and a stamper that  didn't have any ink...how low rent!!!!  Then we decided not to pay the ridiculous prices of carnival food, so we went to Pizza Hut for dinner, where Vaughn happened to stumble upon a piece of ABC (already been chewed) gum sticking underneath the table...other than that..he was pretty good! LOL! Then I came home, put Vaughn to bed and talked on the phone to my best friend from high school.

I am going camping over the weekend.  It is an annual camp for the older Cubs throughout the county.  About 450 of them accepted the invitation.

I am ducking out for a bit tomorrow afternoon to go to a Garden Party.  It's not every day I get invited by the University Vice Chancellor!

Yes, you will most likely play outfield, where throwing/catching are less necessary.  I think, though, if you practice, you will do fine :)


You haven't seen English people throw and catch have you.. it's hilarious, i mean, really hilarious. I don't just throw like a girl, i throw like an infantile girl... badly. Here you have the humerous part.. I was never considerd bad at that kind of thing (whenever we'd play rounder {basdardized version of baseball} or cricket {god awful game, ok to watch and get drunk to though} ) i'd be picked in the first few.. Ha! You gotta remember, apart from cricket, which isn't exactly a sport, we don't have any real throwing and catching games.

The invite was as a thank you for all the work I've done (and am doing) on the job evaluation programme.  Plus I can be nosy about where he lives!!

Not much today. Went to the shop, came back, mowed the lawns, cleaned up the yard (quick 10 minute job), did some study, went to a party (which sucked), went home, came on here.

Trying to study, but having distractions glory from the family.

I have to work tomorrow, so I'm going to see my dad for fathers day today, and take him to lunch. And maybe a little shopping.
