Today was school from 10am-5pm. Now I'm studying.

Work, work and more work.

Usual family weekend acting as chaffeur to my daughter on Saturday.  We went round to a friend's house yesterday afternoon so his children and ours could play together and he and my hubby could go for a run.  I got to 'babysit'.

In work today and have already had one meeting.  Luckily I checked the e-mail about it to find where it was because I had the wrong time in my head!

I went to work this morning and then got home and ran...I have yet to find out how far though. I went a longer route to the cemetary and then spent about an houyr picking up trash there. I'll run erands later and then be back here :)

We have to do a poem on a theme, based on two works we found that we have to analyze. Mine is self-reflection. So, I'm putting a twist on the old "man the mirror poem". You know, he's looking back as an old man, looking in the mirror? This one's a bit different. I'll post it when it's developed a bit.

Today I have been selling raffle tickets to raise money to purchase a meningitis scanner for the local hospital.

I am taking my car to the garage this afternoon for it first MOT. 

And after that I will be acting as an experimenter for someone.  He wants to be the subject in his own experiment but was worried he'd fudge the results so I'm in charge of the computer.

Tonight I am going to do some more work on my daughters costume for her dance show.  I have cut everything out now I've got to sew it all together.

Got school again.. HIV test I didn't study for, but I'll do fine, or something. I wasn't really focusing in class, I kept getting caught up thinking... but I'll look at my notes the few periods before the class, I'll do okay.

Also have orchestra, and all the extras are coming in... Sh-t.

Well, I'll be going to bed at 10, and getting up to another day of lonliness and depression. Wow, this week sucks.

Going to school today, I have ISS(In school suspension) all day...sucks.

Anyway, yesterday, I spent all day on a field trip with Lindsay to the challenge course(we went with out group), and then I gave her a ride to her counselor once we got back to school(she goes to a grief counselor). We had a good conversation on the way over, but, I'm worried about her. She is having a really hard time(her mother died a little over a year ago, her dad isnt around or her brother, she loves with some friend of her's and her mother). And I'm not so sure about this Andrew guy, I think he might be making things worse for her.

She is also worried about getting accepted into SHSU..god, I want her to be happy.

Going to school today, I have ISS(In school suspension) all day...sucks.

Sit here on my comp and sulk about being home tonight. I spent last night out and most of today, now I am back and have nothing to do. I only have three people's phone numbers and none of them are options tonight, so thus nothing to do. The only place to go in this area where you can just hang around and be around people in a social(well semi-social) type atmosphere is the mall. But I've worn myself out on that place. I'm too young to go to any clubs.

I HATE being at home. I thought I used to hate it when it was what I had to do all the time, but now that I've been going out, I TRUELY despise it. My mother and her boyfriend are the most boring, irritating people to be around. This house is really dull and boring. Its suffocating, a dungeon. This place has some really bad Chi. Its just draining.

I want someone to talk to and chill with.

Alex, I think this is a cliche but it's true, you really ought to find the happiness from within. Do what makes you alone feel happy instead of being dependent upon other people for your happiness - love just being with yourself.

I remember those days and they really do suck.  What I did in that situation was turn my room into
my own sanctuary and filled it with books(library, I couldn't afford to buy all I wanted), music, and
something, anything to keep my hands occupied, usually that was drawing and wood carving.  It didn't go all the way away, but it helped pass the time until I fell asleep.  It sucked but I made it through.

Heck, most of my friends are busy today, I am gonna jump on my bike and ride down to the Park, see if anybody is playing soccer or Basketball if not I'll have a good 7-8 mile ride.

You don't have to not like being with people, Alex to find the happiness inside. You have hobbies, dreams and pursuits, right? Pursue them - you don't need anyone else to do that with you.

Plus you mentioned you are going to college soon? This will be a handy way to meet new people. Initiative goes a long way if you want to make friends. If people are convinced you are not interested in them and just want to meet someone just to make you feel better, they will sense it.  :)

At work today.  Have already watched and offered constructive criticism of someone's conference presentation, sorted out and had inspected a compressor and looked up some equipment prices on the internet.  Also had several students come and use the same piece of equipment.  Their deadline is tomorrow.

I made good progress on Elizabeth's costume for her dance show last night and I might even finish it tonight!

I found the ugliest 'Helper in awkwardness' around and she (and i use that term exceptionally generously) agreed to do it for $22 and some Scooby Snacks..

I also found a prosthetic tounge on E-Bay.. you can carry out your plan.

It'll be interesting, as I haven't washed a vehicle by hand since I was a teenager!  :o

Draining the pool (some mtc. I want to do this year, with it empty,) so I'm stuck here watching the pump & the drain lines...  it's almost as exciting as watching grass grow or paint peel. 

Today we had a "final" in our physics lab class today; our professor provided the formulas on the board so that we could use them to solve the problems. I think I did fairly well; I would have been stumped if the formulas weren't there. So there was just one problem that I think I may have messed up on.

Wow enjoy yourself Philip, should be fun. Isn't that on the St Johns Wood tube line? (I worked around there for a while)

I'm finishing my homework this am, then going to support the kids doing athletics out on the pitches this afternoon.

My team lost!

Got a concert with the orchestra.. and I woulda had a solo. Why didn't I get one? Some random chick decided to not join the orchestra permanently, or come to the rehearsals, but she becomes an extra. So now it's just a cello solI. Not O, I. And it sucks.

I attended a volunteer luncheon today. :)

Today was Vaughn's 3rd birthday...we are having his party on Sunday...but I wanted to do something special with him....Chris was golfing tonight with his league...

so Vaughn & I went to the playground...then I took him out to dinner and later for an ice-cream....it was a nice day!!!

This morning, when my father was loading up his Van he spotted a guy rooting around in the dumpsters over the road. He walked over and knowing there was something odd asked 'can i help you' (meaning sod off)

The guy just said f-uck you and carried on. He and my father got in to an altercation which i heard... I walked outside and the guy now looked a bit concerned as there were two big guys and him so he just left, but not before saying, I'm gonna torch your fu**in car.

This got me and the old man laughing but we thought we'd better call the cops. Anywho for the first time in God knows how long THREE! Cars were here withing 10 minutes and are out looking for this guy, and the Cop said to me and my Dad, you have permission to restrain this guy in anyway you can.

Superb, I'm looking forward to this bastard coming back, it's fairly obvious he's doing something he shouldn't be doing or he wouldn't be so aggressive towards people. Excellent.

I survived a party for my son's third birthday back in January without listening to Alcholholica's advice.  We started off with some of James's toys for them to play with.  Then we had something to eat and then we played pass the parcel and musical bumps.

I recommend some fences and sticks. Get 'em all into a coral, then sedate them. They'll never know what hit them, and their parents will be so happy how tired they are.

I am off school again and not sure if I am going to go in late yet or not.  Depends on how I feel.  Tonight there is a concert at my church that I might be going to but I am not sure if I will feel up to going.

We may go to see a play that the daughter of a friend is in. If we don't go tonight, we will go tomorrow. And Carlos is wandering around the house trying to figure out what to do now that he is offically retired. lol

Well, I gave up my job at the radio station for the sake of saving Sherry a lot of problems from her boss....delivered flowers...took a rose to Sherry...downloaded some cool videos and posted :D
