Haven't done it yet. I'm on Pacific time here. It's only 9:46 am. His test isn't until 1. But, I'll let you know. However, it's usually a no-brainer that he'll get it! We shall see.

my mom is going to be 56...but honestly doesn't look a day over 40!! I never know what to get her for her b-day....I will probably get her a gift certificate or something...that's always appreciated

Yeah. Things like that are greatly appreciated. My mom is going to be 54 in November...but looks a lot younger than that.

Since today is Easter, I will give my son his easter basket later on. I made him one and filled it with toys since he can't really eat candy right now. :D He got an Eeyore that plays peek a boo when he shakes a rattle. Really cool and he'll love it since he likes playing peek a boo. I'll also dress him up and take his pictures next to the basket.

I didn't get to sleep until 5AM.. for.. well you know, anywho, i woke up at at.. not fun right.
Oh well, i have done so much in the last 6 hours.. although instead of 2PM it feels like.. 10 or something.
Anywho, i am officially moving at the start of June, not as soon as i had wished but it was the agreed upon date.
I am going to College :o The tests i did showed i was smart enough, they want me to take some sort of test, similar to college entry exams, but because i have like, not gone through the US School system it will be slightly different, can't see any reason why i shouldn't pass that.
I have pretty much been told i can go to Merramack in St Louis for 2 years.. it's an ok school, however all my credits will pass over to the University of Missouri, which is excellent.
STOKED!
So i will actually finish college a year earlier than i would have.. ;D

I took the baby to the doctor today because he has a red mark on his face. We thought it was a bug bite and my dad was freaking out about it (paranoid grandfather), so off we went. It turns out it is just a really big zit. ::) Then when we got home, my dad asked what the doctor said. When we told him the diagnosis, my dad said....."Is the doctor sure?" :D
My dad is like that though. When I was a baby, my grandmother (who has 14 kids) changed my diaper. My dad told her that she had done it wrong and then fixed it to his satisfaction. ;D
Oh yeah. They weighed the baby while we were over there. He weighs 12.9 pounds. :o

At work trying to restart myself after the holiday.
Some equipment arrived yesterday (whilst the uni was closed) and I need to help unload it this afternoon. My lab area can only be accessed by steps (after they demolished the ramp during some building work) and so we've got to work out a way to either lift it up some steps or down some steps. fun fun fun!

Well, so far today, I have tried (unsuccesfully) to hook up the Atari 2600s I found a little while back....it didn't work, I need an adapter. I have like, 60 some games, a ton of joysticks and controllers....and 2 2600s.....if they both work well, I may sell them and put the money towards my trip to Wales... Wish me luck... :D :)

I can't stand Newcastle (Not only because i'm a mackem), but because i think they're over-rated. The FA love them, but what can you do? You know what else gets me about Newcastle is the fact that every picture of them in the newspapers includes Alan Shearer (?). Prime example - in Sunday's Prem Plus in the Mirror, the whole thing had absolutely nothing to do with Shearer, yet the main headline was 'Shearers Big Day Ruined', what big day?!?!?! And then Shearer had about 5 pages in the paper because he'd confronted Bowyer. So what?! It was exactly the same with the Bellamy thing - nothing to do with Shearer at all, but because Shearer just so happened to be walking past at the time, he gets 3 back pages, 5 interviews and about 65,000,000 aritcles. I think Shearer's overstayed his welcome

v pleased that my husband is away because otherwise I might have been in work until very late yesterday. I had the perfect excuse for why I had to go home. They were doing some filming for a documentary and they didn't finish until midnight! :o
Today I will be sorting out things to do with some new equipment we have, ordering safety fencing for it and helping to put a chain hoist up. Also helping our japanese visitors sort out some accomodation for her longer visit next year.

That's not too bad.  I go to a friend's salon at her house and pay around $50.  Some of my friends pay double that at local salons.

Oh. Well, yes, I guess you could say that. I've been having my hair done at a salon for about 14 years now. Until I was 10, my mom had been cutting my hair, at home. Then I began going to a salon to have it done. The hairstylist always does a good job.

Oh, let's not even talk about specialty services....mine's usually around $150 when I get it highlighted :o
No doubt - I am cheap and so I only get the front and top highlighted then the rest toned out to match the ends. If I were to get all over colour and highlights (which I did last year) I pay $190 because of the length and conditioners they apparently "need" to use! ;)
