As for me, I'm totally bumming out my oldest. He was supposed to go to the Auto Show with a friend today but can't because I have to take him to the orthopedic surgeon to see what they are going to have to do to the finger they think he broke yesterday. The doc we saw last night thinks it's a compression fracture as you can't really see a "break" in the x-ray but his bone is definitely bent ???
Ouch..how did he manage to do that? I hope it doesn't require too much to fix it. Poor guy.

Right now I'm babysitting my nephews 2 1/2 yr. old daughter. She's a cutie, but.....whew! Not used to having little ones around the house. Between her running around and the dog chasing her, my head is spinning! :D

Phew. That must be quite draining. My girlfriend's little neice and nephew come around and by the time they have finished, I'm reaching for the headache tablets.

Yesterday I had my monthly "diners club" meeting; this time it was at a Chinese "buffet" restaurant. They had all kinds of interesting foods to choose from; I got full. :P :D But I had a good time talking with people. :)

In a few months we will be cleaning out Carlos' office which is FULL of books. We are not going to bring home ALL of them. We are going to go through, keep the ones we want and donate the rest to the library. But, I think we will bringing home a few boxes. :o One can never have too many books. At least now we have the room for them-just need a few more shelves-which Carlos will be making. (He has made our other book shelves.)

I was possessed to do something CRAZY today...all because of the weather...and my tiny but norticable beer gut :P I went for a mile run early this morning, then I dropped my friend off at her work. I had some errands to do so after I was finished, I went back and dropped off the car for her to come home later....then I RAN home from her work...about 5 miles :D Today you can call me crazy....and a little sore ::) :)

When I lived in Wolverhampton, we had a major snowfall so some friend's and I grabbed some roadsigns and shot down a hill on them! ;D

That's great, Tam! We started painting in our house in October...we still have yet to do some more...when we have the time and energy we'll work on it. Our walls started out as white, and we got tired of seeing white walls (it felt all cold, like an igloo), so we decided to paint the downstairs walls a pale green color; it works out well. :)

Today I left the campus earlier than usual because I had a dentist appointment in the afternoon. All was well, except for a small cavity. He still had to numb my mouth to take care of it. (It was on the bottom of my mouth, on the left hand side.) So I can't talk clearly, and I can't eat anything until the anaesthetic wears off, except for a milkshake or smoothie.

Well...I didn't do anything real exciting today...like I said in my earlier post, I did things around the house, like take the dog for a walk, do some laundry, and studying... I also vacuumed the interior of our '92 Toyota Camry; my mom appreciated the good job that I did. :) Then we went to church, and afterwards found a place to have dinner: Souplantation. Every time I go there, I always eat a nutritious meal and get full. ;) Then we came home; I watched a little TV, then turned on the computer to do some posting. Tomorrow we'll probably have fun, since my mom doesn't have to work at all. (She normally works Sundays through Thursdays, but we're all glad she has the day off tomorrow!) :D
