I can't imagine airshows without the USAF Thunderbirds and their colorful F-16's...yes they're warplanes....but to an aviation nut and airshow adrenaline junkie...they ROCK.  Same for the Navy Blue Angels and their F-18 Hornets. As well as the F-117 Nighthawk Stealth FIGHTER(not STEALTH BOMBER as some people make the mistake of calling it!) and the F-22 Raptor.
oh yeah I forgot the F-14 Tomcat. I will miss it too when the Navy retires it.

These people came into the store I work at, today. The dad was saying such mean things to his son {who couldn't have been over the age of 5} like "You make me sick, just looking at you...get the f*ck away from me" and "No one even likes you...they never will"....he was being soo sickeningly sarcastic with him, too. He looked over and caught be giving him THE most satanic glare I could muster {Seriously, you would have thought smoke was about to come out of my ears....which, actually, would have been a nice affect--but ANYWHO}....He then stopped.

Seriously, I may be getting a promotion.  My Supervisor gave her two weeks and I am the logical candidate to replace her.  I am Assistant Supervisor so I know her job, alot of the other workers want me to be Supervisor and I am the only other 40 hour a week person in the office.  She thinks the boss is taking a couple of days to talk to me because they are figuring out the pay.  The Vice-Pres told his assistant that they want me to take the job.  I just wish they would say something to me.  I would jump on this job in a New York minute.

I've heard those type of so-called 'parents' making those type of jacka$$ed comments...Many of these parents seem to be younger...there was one that was in a CVS drugstore one time that I just wanted to grab her by the neck Fonzie-style..and tell her that what she was saying to her kids...they INTERNALIZE sometimes and it stays with them! Parents YES have a right to discipline their kid(s),but not by using nastiness...also 'catching them being good' and noticing,saying something nice when they do goes a long way.

The past few days, it's the construction workers building the house behind me....they've been out there at 6:30 every freakin morning moving dirt and all I've heard is the "beep, beep, beep, beep" of the bobcat as it's backing up >:(


There's some lady who comes to visit our neighbors who has OCD.. she checks her car alarm compulsively.. so, every 5 minues I get those 2 short beeps.. from 8 AM to 12 PM.

I'll tell you what's been p*ssing me right off over the last couple of weeks... work phoning me at 8:30 in the morning and asking me if I can cover evening hours... it's like "why couldn't you phone me at dinnertime? Why do you feel the need to wake me up 3 times in the space of 8 days at half past 8?"... honestly, one morning I was so angry I threw my mobile out into the corridor, where it fell down the stairs and then I slammed my door shut. If they'd been there in person i'd have knocked their f*king heads off  >:(

Oh, and the point I was making with work waking me up so early is that they could have just phoned me at dinner time to ask me if I could cover the hours, instead of 8:30

My friend's mom never sleeps.. she sleeps from 10 PM to 4 AM.. then she wakes everyone with her loud voice, laughing and saying "You gonna sleep the day away?", and often, no one at his house goes to sleep until after breakfast, until lunch.. but she makes good breakfast, so it's worth it. ;D

Many roadside bus shelters in my town (Absecon) as well as in the neighboring town(Pleasantville) are targets of vandals..they smash out the plexiglass panels...break the seats and benches...and write graffitti,some of it if repeated here would get me kicked off this board(and TOSed off AOL!)...like those jerks have nothing better to do than drink that 40 ounce,smash the bottles to bits so everyone else can get their feet cut(not impossible if one wears flip-flops or sneakers!)..and then destroy the shelter so that no one has a place to sit and everyone gets hit by the hot sun...freezing cold..and pouring rain..

The towns are supposed to maintain the bus shelters even though NJ Transit puts them up.

I wish they could install hidden cameras at each one,not to spy on law abiding people, but to catch the nasties in the act!

Ocean City NJ's bus station/shelter has them....nothing gets torn up either!

Municipalities try to install unbreakable amenities, but the vandals bust 'em up anyhow!  If I ever catch one of those punks, I'll hold him down at write profanity on him with his own marker!  Then he'll get an ACLU lawyer and sue me for hate crimes, but I won't care.

I wonder why they control people that way. I think because they want us to look and be 'acceptable' in so-called normal people's minds. That's stupid. People are people. The world needs to learn to accept others 'as is' (as long as they are not a threat to society)sometimes.

I'm talking about people of any faith who are too blinkered to see when bits of their credo are provably wrong, and who keep on talking anyway.  Typically these would be Christain or Muslim.. though there are lots of both of those that I have a lot of time for, there's also a lot who use the Bible (or the Quran) instead of a brain, rather than using the brain that they presumably believe their God has provided them with.

And I couldn't have a list of things that annoy me without including them: religious bigotry probably annoys me about as much as all the others put together.

You mean cyclists as opposed to motorbikers?  I live on a traffic light T-junction, just after the stop line on the main road, and there's a cyclist who comes past pretty much every day, straight through the red light without even slowing down... but then again, it's still better than Oxford, where the general feeling amongst cyclists is that road regulations are for cars only

I have a 'hidden' disability (COPD) as well as arthritis in both knees...when I ask certain people on the bus to let me sit down...they look at me and get an "oh you're not disabled you're just fat" attitude. What jerks.

5. The above pet owners with resulting anxious, nutty, neurotic, ill-behaved dogs.
6. Dog owners who bring their dogs into shops and public buildings despite the prohibition.
7. Dog owners who leave their dogs tied out alone for 14 hours straight. Poor dog! :\'(
8. Cat owners who neglect the cat, resulting in a scrawny, scruffy, forlorn looking thing who
shows up on my doorstep looking for a hand out.
9. People who pick "pets" higher on the food chain than they: great snakes, big cats, wolves,
giant lizards, and crocadilians. This is just wrong!!!

*my problem is with the owners, not the dogs. In fact, a German Shepherd is one of my favorite breeds. Any dog gets nasty if it's raised that way.


About peeve number 4...yes I respect my cat Tika...and yes I treat her like a FRIEND...she's more than 'just an animal' to me. BTW she hates table food...she prefers her own cat food. But I don't shoo her off the furniture...she sleeps on my bed with me.  And she is well behaved...She knows not to take people's food, be mean to people, or get into trouble.

I am a Christian but I don't shove my faith on those who don't want to hear about it. Anyways action speaks louder than words. Handing out tracts and spouting Bible verses is one thing: reaching out to others by volunteering and helping is another.

As you may know i am a fairly anti-religious guy, but i do try to respect people's faith. Your point about actions speaking louder than words is very true. I have no respect for somebody who spouts the bible and then dosen't live the life. However, i have all the respect and time in the world, for somebody who believes what they believe and then sticks by it by helping others and living a moral and good life.

Companies who think I am stupid. I'm sure many of you know that I collect coins. My latest obsession is collecting Morgan dollars. I joined a "Morgan club" through the Littleton Coin Co. How it works, is that they send me a Morgan dollar once a month. I can either buy it or send it back. Since I am under no obligation to buy the coins, I figured that I give it a go. I just recieved the first coin yesterday. At first I was disappointed with the grade of the coin but I do have some lower grade coins so I could live with that. But then I looked up the coin and discovered that they want me to pay more than TWICE of what it is worth!!!  >:(  Well, the coin is going back-with a note. I told them that I sincerely hope that future coins are of higher grade and fairer prices!!!  I will give them one more chance and if not, I am going to cancel my membership.

Some people's manners and respect seem to get left at the door as they leave their home. You will find that a good percentage of these pigs who vandalize public toilets and rest areas are very clean and cautious at home. The other percentage are naturally pigs.

You don't have to tell me!  When I was a kid I was a sacker (aka bagger) at a supermarket.  Being the lowest on the totem pole, we got doled out some of the nastiest jobs.  After closeing, some unlucky sacker got the toilet detail.  A couple of times it was so nasty I flat out refused.  I told my shift manager he could b*tch to the store manager and have me canned the next day, but I was NOT cleaning those hell-holes!
It was scary enough they sent fifteen year olds in there without protective gear--rubber gloves and ventilators---it was seriously that nasty.  What the heck do you know whan you're fifteen?  I guess that's why they had us do it!  We should have been required to wear full haz-mat suits!

My Dell laptop has been lately suffering a nasty problem where I would randomly get a blue screen saying  "KERNEL_STACK_IN_PAGE_ERROR" while working on it. This has been bugging me for quite a while and I've contact Dell about it, thinking that it would be a hardware related problem but when they tell me to diagnose the computer for problems I don't see any errors. They said it could be the software and not the hardware on my system but it still bothers me as I can't quite pinpoint the porblem.

My Dell laptop has been lately suffering a nasty problem where I would randomly get a blue screen saying  "KERNEL_STACK_IN_PAGE_ERROR" while working on it. This has been bugging me for quite a while and I've contact Dell about it, thinking that it would be a hardware related problem but when they tell me to diagnose the computer for problems I don't see any errors. They said it could be the software and not the hardware on my system but it still bothers me as I can't quite pinpoint the porblem.
Do what I do when my computer pis ses me off.....crash and reload everything. As long as you save the files you want, it's really easy to do :)

Does Dell provide your laptop with a System Restore option?(my Compaq Presario has that option) Can you fix the problem by reinstalling the OS you have and all your software?

My mental health staff when they tell me that I have to wait until one o'clock tomorrow afternoon to pick up an extra spending check when I usually get to pick it up at ten AM....and give no reason for the wait. My staff KNOW I get freaked out by that stuff...I'm beginning to think that's why they do it, to 'teach me to deal'....I feel I have a RIGHT to know why the wait.

I am a mental health consumer...and even when I was actively mentally ill, I NEVER lashed out AT ANOTHER PERSON because I remembered all the violence I saw as a child...I did take it out on myself though, through compulsive spending and outrageous overeating binges....I have to wonder whether the homeless lady is angry at herself for being mentally ill, or has no money for meds and can't get Medicaid..or just is terrified of getting treatment and getting well.

People annoy me. Maybe it's me, but people boil my blood. I can handle the racism and the darker sides of the populace, but it's those little things that people do that annoy me. Chewing with their mouths open. Sucking their teeth and making that "sound." People that leave crappy tips at restaraunts. I'm not a waiter or anything, but it infuriates me when someone leaves an anemic gratuity for their server. It's like that person is saying, "Waiter, you're a piece of s***, and I can't be bothered by giving you any of my money after you have clearly earned it." People that think everything revolves around them. Drinkers that keep count of how many drinks they've had. I'm a drinker myself, but I've never kept a tally of the alcohol I've imbibed. Some say it's a "man-thing." Not true. I'm a man, and I can't be bothered with numbers when I have a pint of Guinness shoved in my face.

Speaking of drinkers, I hate those "pretty-up-the-drink" drinkers. Those that pour salt on their hand, lick it, then take a tequila shot followed by sucking on a lemon wedge. I get annoyed at others that pop a lemon wedge in a bottle of Corona, turn it upside-down and do the hokey-pokey, then claim that it "brings out the flavor." When I go out to drink, I want to do just that: drink. I'm not entering a f***ing liquor pageant; I'm out to either get s***-faced or just drink casually.

Yes, that is me in my avatar...thank you for the compliment!!  I have always had self-esteem problems, so a lot of this is probably in my mind.


You made reference to people who leave crappy tips to servers.....I waited tables for about 4 years...and I can totally vouch for this.  You try and give everyone 100% service, but there are times when things happen, and usually it's due to the fact that the kitchen is behind, or something was wrong with the food, etc...but that doesn't stop the customer from taking it out on the server..therefore, leaving little or no tip. I don't envy anyone that does this as a living, as I hated every minute of it...and I am glad that I no longer wait tables. The only good thing about it was having money on me at all times...but that's about it!

Oh, could you put an umbrella in it? And a twisty straw if its not too much trouble. And a lemon wedge on the edge there? And a sizzle stick coming out? And could you use an iced cup? And could you make the ice out of fruit tea? And could you make that cup a disney cup with cinderella on the side? And could I get a coaster with Oprah on it?" Well anyway, its not cool. I don't like people who discriminate people in any way. I also don't like people of any religion although Christians seem to do it most, that put people down and look at them with an evil eye simply because they go against a book that was written a long time ago that is completely out of context in the modern days. Or the people that look to their bibles and say,"These people are damnded because they go against this part of the bible and it cannot be disobeyed." And then when someone points out another thing they might say, "Well thats just crap, this book is old anyway and things change." Thats just plain mean. I have no predjudices and I think its mostly because I'm part of my very own religion. It's bible is about 5 books that only one person I know has read. And unfortunately for everyone... It only consists of us two. Its a very cool thing. Its actually more of a way of life. A few of the books actually say religion is just a way of sneaking information to people without them knowing it and making them believe in it fully. I usually ignore the comments but it gets a little tiring after a while.

Just how the h&ll do NASCAR haters think fans pay for race tickets,motorhomes,and all that fan stuff they have...NOT with welfare checks...Welfare would not even begin to pay for all that stuff.

Advertisements, plain and simple. Even though they are necessary for business I see way too many ads on television and on the internet. It bugs me that practically everyone needs adaware these days.

When I was a kid I used to love to tag along to the race track with my dad.. because there were always old people smoking pipes and pipe tobacco smelled so good!!  I don't know if I would still like the smell now... but I loved it then!
