My kids were never into Sesame Street. Even though he wont admit it now Timmy watched Barney,Missy watched Big Comfy Couch,Clifford the Big Red Dog,Dragon Tales,Reading Rainbow and Wishbone. Of course they watched other things that were not on PBS. Timmy was big on Mighty Max(the program & the toys)Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? Sonic the Hedgehog & Goosebumps.Missy liked Gullah Gullah Island,Doug,Franklin,Little Bill, Rugrats and Hey! Arnold.Missy just reminded me that she use to watch Barney all the time :)

The so-called Thanksgiving story is totally bogus. The Pilgrims (who did NOT call themselves Pilgrims) did NOT come to this country seeking religious freedom-they come to this country to get away FROM religious freedom. They didn't want anyone to worship differently than themselves. They also pretty much stole the land they settled on from the natives.
And they did not invite the natives to their dinner-the natives basically crash the party-but they did not come empty handed. They brought along some venison and probably other food.

Yes,they did steal the land. They first fled to The Netherlands to perserve their religon then made arrangements to come to North America.
They were separatist who wanted to separate fom The Church of England.They wanted to do missionery work and spread their beliefs
Lots of people actually think the first Thanksgiving happen in StAugustine,Fl because The Spaniards were grateful for arriving there.

The so-called Thanksgiving story is totally bogus. The Pilgrims (who did NOT call themselves Pilgrims) did NOT come to this country seeking religious freedom-they come to this country to get away FROM religious freedom. They didn't want anyone to worship differently than themselves. They also pretty much stole the land they settled on from the natives.

I LIKE KFC ... would eat it more often if it was nearby. Like their mash with gravy pot ... but .. I actually eat the crispy skin they do .... where other chicken styles .. I DON'T. Particularly like theIR more recent (last few years ? ) spicy chicken offerings.
Yeah .... the nearby place (NOT KFC) .... only ever got a takeaway ONCE. It tasted like it was still SWIMMING in grease ! >:( 8-P
