These structures developed from simple roosts for pigeons into works of art. Tinos got its name from the God of wind Eolos. It's a nice, peaceful island, ideal for a relaxing holiday.

How you get there: By ferry boat or flying dolphin from Pireas (Athens) or Rafina Port (25km from Athens).
