its funny... seems to me that when we were discussing the fudge button a long time ago there were some opposed, some for and some indifferent... seems those who were opposed use the option more than the ones who were for it to begin with  ;D

I think you were and indifferent and indifferent people can use it as frequently or infrequently as they want because they were noncommital there is no way to judge if they over or under use it.  ;)

I have only used it once and it was for good reason - Howard was being a butt munch over the Halloween name change! ;)

Here is what I don't get, and please correct me if I am wrong:

Several, and I use the word harshly, several people were adamantly opposed to the addition of the fudge button! So much so that they said they would never use it, saw it as a childish addition, and thought it brought down the 'validity', if you will, of the boards. Now it seems that some of those same people are randomly using it or using it as a revenge tactic. Tell me which is the childish act? Adding the button or using it to get back at someone? ::)

And to delve just a little bit deeper... the one person who gives fudge the most has the cajones to tell on open boards why - and yet s/he doesn't get fudged in return!!! Scared of said person are we?

No. I mean those things known as "We interrupt this program to bring you a....report....yadda yadda..." ...and it takes up 10-15 minutes, sometimes longer, and you end up missing a good chunk of the regularly scheduled program that you intended to watch. Especially if the news bulletin they show, can wait until the top of the hour.

That's true, Soapnet gives you several opportunities to watch a certain show. Sometimes they tape the late runnings, but then they'd have to watch it the next day...which is doable, but they don't like to be behind on it. They often watch "All My Children" when it airs at 8pm, which is convenient, but for "Days Of Our Lives" they have to watch it on tape. The current day's episode does not air on Soapnet until later (like 11:00 I think), whereas on NBC it's on at 1 in the afternoon. So that's why they usually opt to tape it from NBC where it first airs.

Might need to clean it (as bizarre as that sounds).  I find a good rinsing out with vinegar helps immensely.

Those seem like some very helpful tips; maybe I will try that at some point too. Over time the stains and rust seem to build up in there.
