Y'all can smite me if you like, I would prefer though, that you were able to actually smite me, as opposed to make believe in this here thread. Yep, I really, really wish we had the actual SMITE button. Not so much because I am really lazy and find it tedious to update this thread, but because when someone says something that really grates on my nerves, I want to be able to just smite them. I don't want to come here and say "so&so smite" but then either tell why because they are a member, or tell nothing because they aren't a member. Just gimme the dang button and let me go! No justification, no nothing. Smite doesn't affect karma unless we remove the smite feature - and what does it matter anyway? It isn't like the whole karma thing is really worshiped right? A bunch of useless numbers really. No big deal if it was taken away tomorrow. Shoot, the only thing that Ido know people would freak over is their post count. Which of course isn't a big deal to me as you can tell. Been here almost 4 years and haven't broke 10,000 yet. Haha! I guess I don't have a lot to say.. would seem that way.

While on a personal level there are some people I would REALLY love to smite... I don't know that I like the idea of a smite button-per se.

About 95% of my smites here are done in fun and I only give real smites when I'm really annoyed. Knowing how closely some watch the karma log.... I only care about the numbers but some really care about the love. I cannot imagine the drama some members would raise because they were getting smote daily by another member.

nah I like your thread... I think that begging for love is fine... like I said there are a few who get instant karma from me and others earn it. but some people Ijust forget about...like with SirB. its a good idea to give him a day so he knows we miss him.

I would love a smite button.  It would be good if the smites were anonymous.  I don't think people would freak too much if it didn't affect the karma count.

unless you plan to be a physist or mathematician those classes are useless... just be sure you know how to add, subtract multiply and divide.... and maybe just the basics of alegbra to calculate fuel/mileage, time/distance  and also the hot dog to bun ratio....otherwise (although they never tell you this in school) the other stuff NEVER gets used.  ;)
