Not me; I'll be gone for several hours during the day. I'm gonna need to travel to campus, but due to the recent train crash, there will be alternate transportation provided.

Oh...and I almost forgot, I went to the beach yesterday! (Just to walk around and get some fresh air, though. I didn't stay a real long time.) While I was there I took a couple of pictures with my digital camera, using the special "Beach" setting. :) When I upload them to the computer I will share 'em with you guys!

I was gonna go to the store to buy some more drinking water, but I had to be home to take care of my mom, who is not feeling well. We have enough water jugs for another couple days or so anyway.

Sorry Philip I missed this. I left at 3:20 which was later than I intended but I hit NO TRAFFIC (an LA miracle) and reached my destination 94 miles away by 5 pm... Plus I had to stop and get gas...
Unfortunately I could not get pics with anyone but I got some pics of. I will post them Tues night or Wed.
Tomorrow I have to go to training on Active Shooters. So that should be fun.

pretty much tho I won't get to hit the fila joint this time because I have a friend coming in from out of state for the event and she wants the whole experience so we'll be sitting outside of the Paley Center in Beverly Hills (formerly called the Museum of TV & Radio) at some unGodly hour because she likes to spend the entire day waiting in line (even when it's not necessary) she says it heightens the experience.
She's kinda right tho. The day we waited for the Buffy the Vampire Layer Slayer reunion was one of the best times I'd ever had waiting for one of these events ;D

We might decide to do that this year, too; nothing too elaborate. This is partly due to my mom being laid off from her job in mid-August. >:(

Today (Wednesday) it was too rainy to go anywhere. I didn't have any place that I needed to go to anyway. So I just stayed home all day. Heck, this was the first time ever that I've stayed home on the day before Thanksgiving! In all the years I've been in school, I've usually had to go to school cuz' I had a class. This year, there was no reason for me to go to campus...mostly because I'm only taking one class, and it's online. It'll be done by the middle of next month.
And I don't think I'll be going anywhere tomorrow (Thanksgiving Day), but my mom or dad will...to pick up my grandma and bring her out to our house so she can spend the Thanksgiving holiday with us. :)

did you know you can submit them online that way you don't have to occupy yourself in costco waiting for them to develop....or make two trips... although the costco you go to is conveniently located on the same freeway exit as a certain restaurant I know. ;D

I know which exit that is too :) :D ;D And I also know which restaurant you're referring to.
When my mom and I were there the other day, we had to only wait 1 1/2 hours for them to be developed, so we journeyed around the store and picked up the items we needed. We also sampled some foods at the various stands...but there wasn't a very large number of those around. Still, my mom told me that I would be amazed at all the items we'd find at Costco...and indeed I was. In addition to all the food that's there, there's also a section for kiddie items, books, office supplies...and the list goes on. There's even a section for Christmas and holiday merchandise (which is probably used for other seasonal stuff during other times of the year; for example, in October, they might have Halloween things). So anyway, we were there for about 40 minutes altogether, so after we paid for our stuff, we had to go home, unload all our groceries, and then come back. I'd already paid for my order of photos, so all I had to do when we went back was show my receipt and I was good to go.

actually in october they still had Christmas stuff ;D Costco started stocking christmas supplies in August ::)

My mom had intended to go somewhere today...namely up to the shopping mall to get a refund on a towel that had gotten wrecked when we washed it the other day, but she's postponing that trip until tomorrow because she has no place else to go today.

I went. There was a 2 to 3 hour wait in line. I actually found a friend there and he drove us to different monorail stops, still a 2 hour wait. So I didn't go, but I got free pizza, drink (pop) and a nice pen for going.

Yes. But I would have probably waited at least 1 1/2 hours if I'd gotten there right at 10. But since I got there at 9, there weren't very many people already waiting (just 4 or 5). Also, I wanted to make sure that I got my shot before they ran out.

Where did I go today?
I went to Barnes & Noble (as I mentioned in a couple other threads, only to not find what I was looking for), to the mall, and then to Trader Joes. In a little while I will be going out again...to dinner.

I went for a long walk on the trail near my house. :) The weather was too nice to stay inside.

Every few days we have to do that...it seems like we always run out of stuff to eat!

I prefer not to go out anyplace today. But my parents had to go out, in order to take my grandmother back home.
