I've never heard someone sell a service so hard... the pastor was like is there anyone who wants to speak please feel free, just try to keep it brief....then there was a lot of back peddling....  then he was like...if you want to speak please do so but if you don't its okay- public speaking isn't for everyone but if you want to come on up and speak.... he did this about 4 times...

then he invited us to the service at the grave site but assured us that the ceremony there was going to be very brief.  ;D  I totally wanted to laugh but I maintained composure.

two of the great grand daughters were playing one had a camera and the other was making faces for the photos. It was cute...  they were 9 and 6 the 6 year old definitely looked up to the older one because she copied her every move...I watched them as I am not very religious and the prayers seemed to take forever.

Funerals are often weird when the person is distant to you. I went to a funeral for my mum's husband's dad (only seen him once) and I didn't know what to do accept look respectful. It was really cool though because the family concentrated on what he was all about alive and they passed around photos in a happy manner . . . there were two nice girls there too but I didn't say much to them given the circumstances.  ;D

Well, I didn't go anywhere today. This morning I made my final decision not to. It was a job fair at CSUN that I contemplated going to, but the job representatives were probably most likely from out there... and if I wanna work close to home, then going to a job fair at CSUN was probably not worth my while.

Yesterday it was watching cricket at Lord's Cricket Ground and today iis stuck indoors due to rain.

Well, I did go somewhere today: to the store. I decided to pick up some frozen breakfast, since I didn't have any in the house. Best of all, I had a coupon that I could use, so I did that. I was looking to buy a couple other things, but I couldn't find canned Healthy Choice soup there. :-\\ Which bummed me because I had a coupon for it, and the store wasn't carrying it.

I love the beach too. :) We were gonna go there sometime last weekend, but we had lots of housework and things of that nature to take care of.


Came back a day early.  Only spent a few hours at the beach. :(

I went to a couple of classical music concerts eight years ago when I took a Music Appreciation class. The first one I went to was at Caltech in Pasadena, and the second one was at the Skirball Center (everytime I see that name I think of "screwball"...lol) in Los Angeles. Was relaxing, but at the same time gave me a learning experience.

Today (Sunday) I went to church and then to a brunch buffet at a Mexican restaurant.

I had an appointment at 11 this morning with someone, but they called me early this morning to tell me that something came up unexpectedly, so I had to reschedule my appointment for next week. So I'm not going anywhere today.

I went to class earlier but I was late because I was on my cell bragging to my mom about some pants I was wearing that didn't fit me last month  ;D

I did not go anyplace yesterday (Friday) and I certainly do not intend to travel anywhere today.

I will be going into Central London to see a friend of the family off on her travels today.

Went to church today, and then to the grocery store to pick up some items. We wanted to go to the beach, but it was too cloudy and overcast to go; it would not have been lotsa fun. :-\\

It will be my usual morning destination for me today.

I went a couple of places today, plus I have an appointment tomorrow morning...so maybe I should get some sleep.

My back is not up to going to cricket at Lord's today, but I will still have to go to the Post Office.

I did the minimal amount of cleaning. I washed my dishes... there were a ton because with two finals, a paper and two books to read this last week they weren't even on my radar but in order to eat yesterday I needed clean dishes.  I also picked up some trash but that's all. I will work on the laundry and the rest on Tues!
