I'm glad for you (and family) that a good time by all was had. If the stage show is anything like the movie then it would have been a fantastic show. The magic of live performance is really special.

Cheers

The thought of the film came up in conversation last night, and we were trying to remember who was in it. Now thanks to IMDB we now know.

no it was the mother of a coworker. I didn't know her but my coworker has always been very nice to me so I went for moral support.

It was kind of weird.. I've never heard someone sell a service so hard... the pastor was like is there anyone who wants to speak please feel free, just try to keep it brief....then there was a lot of back peddling....  then he was like...if you want to speak please do so but if you don't its okay- public speaking isn't for everyone but if you want to come on up and speak.... he did this about 4 times...

then he invited us to the service at the grave site but assured us that the ceremony there was going to be very brief.  ;D  I totally wanted to laugh but I maintained composure.

I attended afuneral (for my best mates father) and we all went to the gravesite. Suddenly the wildest storm (possibly in history) hit us. The rain came in sideways, Umbrellas were turning inside out and blowing away, the place was turning to mud and ladies started slipping over. We all were in stitches of laughter and swore that this was his Dad's joke on us..... very memorable.... :)

two of the great grand daughters were playing one had a camera and the other was making faces for the photos. It was cute...  they were 9 and 6 the 6 year old definitely looked up to the older one because she copied her every move...I watched them as I am not very religious and the prayers seemed to take forever.

Funerals are often weird when the person is distant to you. I went to a funeral for my mum's husband's dad (only seen him once) and I didn't know what to do accept look respectful. It was really cool though because the family concentrated on what he was all about alive and they passed around photos in a happy manner . . . there were two nice girls there too but I didn't say much to them given the circumstances.  ;D

I went out for a late-night bite to eat.  Today was 50 cents a wing night for boneless, yummy wings at Buffalo Wild Wings.  They were horribly busy earlier this evening, so we didn't go then.  I decided to go about a half hour before closing time (12:30 a.m.) and it was practically deserted.  Hurrah!  I'm still licking my lips.

Was relaxing, but at the same time gave me a learning experience.

I went to class earlier but I was late because I was on my cell bragging to my mom about some pants I was wearing that didn't fit me last month  ;D

I did not go anyplace yesterday (Friday) and I certainly do not intend to travel anywhere today.

Went to church today, and then to the grocery store to pick up some items. We wanted to go to the beach, but it was too cloudy and overcast to go; it would not have been lotsa fun. :-\\

My back is not up to going to cricket at Lord's today, but I will still have to go to the Post Office.

That seems awful. :( Maybe you should have it looked into?

Anyway, I drove to my appointment this morning; it was at an office only a mile or so away from my home; it went well. :)

I don't know the exact distance, but I do believe my guess is probably right.

Plus, I have been driving myself places now for about a whole year. :)

I called in sick for work tomorrow.  Mental Health day... it'll be my first official day off since July 29th. I should clean my apartment but maybe it'll wait till Tuesday...my official day off.

good for you. I take those once in awhile but I call them F.O. days  8)  and as for cleaning, I'd wait til Tuesday and just chill tomorrow

I'm glad I didn't go anywhere yesterday; if I'd gone, say, to campus, I'd probably have no way of getting home.

If I go anyplace tomorrow, it'll probably be to church, and nowhere else.

I did the minimal amount of cleaning. I washed my dishes... there were a ton because with two finals, a paper and two books to read this last week they weren't even on my radar but in order to eat yesterday I needed clean dishes.  I also picked up some trash but that's all. I will work on the laundry and the rest on Tues!

I was out this morning.

So was I. I went to go see a job counselor; the same place I visited for the first time two weeks ago. FTR, it's only 1 3/4 miles from there to my house.
