Yeah, she was on drugs.  She would post and post about the dozens of prescription drugs she is taking, and how she confused crack for marijuanna, and about where she keeps her marijuanna.  She was an addict.

I went caving once years ago.  I really enjoyed it, even when I was nearly swept away by the current of the stream I was crawling in.

I'd love the chance to go again and I know some people who go occasionally but none of them are qualified to lead a group and it makes me a bit nervous.

This is a picture of the excavations at Vinolanda in the north of England...

Many dandy artifacts were unearthed here...

This is also where I happened to meet Dr. Anthony Birley (noted author, archaeologist, Roman historian and founder of the Vindolanda Trust)  who just happened to be there, digging in the mud, as I was passing through.

We had an interesting conversation that cold, damp English morning...

"Good morning, Dr. Birley......", I said.

"Good morning to you...", he said.

"What is that you're working on?  That looks like a hypocaust...", I said...

"Indeed it is; from the third century remodel...", he said.

  "Good day, sir...", I said...

  "Good day...", he said...
