Three dogs are at the vet's office and talking among themselves, the first dog said I've been peeing on the rugs so they have decided to have me put to sleep. The second dog says, I've been chewing on the furniture so they have decided to have me put to sleep as well. Then both dogs look at the third dog and ask why are you here? The third dog said, when my master bent over I mounted her. So both dogs say, so she is having you put to sleep as well. The third dog then says, No, I'm here to have my nails trimmed  ;D

Fabulous - but really hot!!  The shopping was wonderful and everyone had a great time.  Haven't you got a friend in Melbourne Andy?  I've got relatives down there who love it when the weather's okay but hate it when winter arrives.  I'd love to live down there for a couple of years.  You should save your pennies and visit your mate - you'd have a wonderful time.

I don't know, dude, Maul has a DOUBLE lightsaber. AND he was fighting off Qui-Gon AND Obi-Wan. Even managed to kill one! And almost the other! Mad 1337 j3d1 skillz. Vader couldn't even fight off Skywalker.

... Yeah, there's no way that Vader could stand up to Maul.

HA! I laugh at your puny Star Wars Knowledge.

Maul is a pathetic excuse for.. anything..

Subject: Re: The go anywhere thread

Written By: MidKnightDarkness on 04/11/05 at 6:42 pm

I think that Maul gets lumped into the general feeling for Star Wars: Episode I, which was a pretty good movie, even though it wasn't as good as the original trilogy. I was taking them both outside of the series, because... well, they'd never meet, anyway. In a battle to the death, there's no way that Vader could kill Maul! Unless he used the Death Star, but that doesn't count.  ;D

Pfffft.

All you have to do is blink wrong at maul and he drops like a brick.....ha....weak.

Subject: Re: The go anywhere thread

Written By: Alchoholica on 04/11/05 at 7:00 pm

Funny, one jedi knight didn't even pose a challenge to him, and it took two to kill him.... and the only reason he did die was because he was being arrogant... and because Obi-Wan pulled a cheap maneuver. If he was hanging on so desperately, struggling so badly, how the devil did he manage to 1) break out his new trick of pulling the lightsaber from far away, and 2) Use the force AT THE SAME TIME to jump 30 feet in the air by doing nothing but pulling himself up by his arms?! Possible? I think not.

HA! Because the sheer mental pressure of the moment allowed him to tap in to previously untapped (i'm tired, sue me for bad flow) reserves.

Anywho, Vader wasn't so much killed.. he sacraficed himself.

The big showdown, really wasn't much of a showdown, Vader was just Psychologically weaker...

Subject: Re: The go anywhere thread

Written By: Alchoholica on 04/11/05 at 7:03 pm

Funny, the mental pressure didn't stop him from NOT BEING ABLE TO RUN FASTER AND SAVE QUI-GON! Come on, is that dude a Jedi or a... a... um... old lady?!

Ah but at that point in time... the heat wasn't.. so to speak.. on

I think if my master was in a battle with a Sith with a double lightsaber who's been putting up quite a fight up until now, doing things such as knocking me off ledges and whatnot, I'd be heated up pretty good....

Oeidipus Complex.. as such. Qui gon was essentially his father, but kept him on a path he didn't feel was right, Sub-Conciously he wanted him out of the way..

Subject: Re: The go anywhere thread

Written By: Alchoholica on 04/11/05 at 7:40 pm

Then why was Obi-Wan so sad when Qui-Gon died?

Because on a concious level he was.. but underneath he was glad, and was just expressing grief because his years of Jedi service had instilled in him a love of all life, that was briefly over-ridden by his Psycotic jealousy of qui-gon.

What?  Pretending to be robocop is all old news now?  This is a very sad occasion.  For one thing, he's the easiest person to impersonate...

Ah well.  There was once a forum user named Patti who would go off into irrelevant rants using quotes a lot.

Me:  I like fried chicken, especially from KFC.  Then it comes with mashed potatoes.  Good Kentucky cooking!

Patti:  oh so i "guess" it is "okay" to bomb (other) "countries" like (dubya!?)  why does "everyone" go around "bombing" <cheese???> no "wonder" why ppl are "wrong" WRONG it's "bad"  im going to "be" a pharmacist and "then" you can "all" (die)!!!!!!   :)
