You see, depending on which country you're from, you like certain sports more than others. Such as the Americans like American Football best, the Australians like Rugby and Cricket, the English of course love footy (soccer) as do the Brazilians.

Rugby is more of a man's game than American Football IMO. No body armour or helmets for the players and the ref's whistle doesn't stop the action every second.  ;) ;D

We don't play Hold 'Em. We play 7 card stud, 5 card draw and variants of each, such as Baseball (my favorite), 5 and Dime, Follow the Queen, etc. There are so many of them but they are all fun-especially when you win.  ;D 

One of the most usual hands last night was 5 card draw with 8s wild. I was dealt three 8s and had a jack (4 of a kind) so I kept that and threw whatever the other card was. I think I got a 5. I bet the max-5 cents, and another player raised me 5 back. Well, I raised him back 5 also. Everyone else had dropped out. I showed him my three 8s with my jack. He showed me three jacks with an 8. UNREAL!!! We looked at our 5th card-mine was a 5. His was only a 4 so-I WON!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D  But it was just so unreal to have a hand like that.

Um... nothing major. A few orbs here and there, a lot of cold spots... but the highlight of my night was when we were doing a vigil in the great hall, and the adjacent room was something called the king's chamber or something, so I went in ON MY OWN with nothing but my torch (which was dead), and sat on a bench in the corner. Then something wierd happened, it kinda went really cold around me and it felt like there was this huge build up to something, and then (and i swear this is no bs at all) something touched the top of my head. I sh*t myself! I had never been so f*kin frightened in all my life. I ran back out into the great hall, and one of the psychics asked me what had happened. I explained, and he brought me back into the kings chamber and he asked out to any spirits if any of them knew who had touched me, and a ghost called sarah replied (he was using the pendulum). She said she knew who had touched me and apparently it wasn't a very nice man who had touched me, so I didn't go back into the kings chamber on my own again!  ;D
It was scary but very cool  8)

For something positive to add to this thread, my daughter got hired at the Dr. Office she's been externing at. So, as soon as she gets finished externing, which should be next week, she can start getting paid for doing the job! It's full time and she can finally quit her waitressing job she's been doing to get her through school! Life is good!  :)
