First I must apologize for being out so long, sorry pals and gals, this way I'll stay more often in your wave, I swear for Paco's sake ;)
The very last movie I saw " Walk the Line"....Johnny Cash's life
By the way..what it really means walk the line ? I untrust about official traslation in here
they untitetled the fim " en la cuerda floja" something like " To walk the tightrope "
what do you think about this traslation and the way the movie adjust real Johnny's life ?.
Johnny Cash is one of my favour voices. I admite to listen to him a lot, not only cuz I love mostly of his songs but also to learn a bit about pronunciation.
I really appreciate your views.
and I'm glad to read from you again and again and again.....

That's what I've heard. I was really excited for "Green Zone," hoping it might be comparable to the Bourne movies. I noticed the reviews for it weren't so great, though, so I ended up seeing "Shutter Island" instead. I really enjoyed "Shutter Island," especially because it left me confused at the end. I'm gonna need to watch that one again to put all the pieces together!

Yeah, there are A LOT of them-but they are all GREAT!!! I highly recommend them-but you have to start at the beginning because you get a greater understanding. The funny thing is, he always seems to meet every famous person during that time period (WWI). In this one, he meets Ernest Hemingway, Edith Wharton, & Lowell Thomas. But, it is excellent storytelling and you learn history at the same time.

I watched the beginning of that today while I was working out. Such a classic.
Yesterday I went to see two movies: The Last Song, and Alice in Wonderland.
The Last Song was my 9 year old nieces choice - I had a girl's day with her yesterday. I didn't expect much from it or Miley Cyrus, but overall, I have to admit it was pretty good.
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, on the other hand, was all my choice, and it was everything I wanted it to be and more. I absolutely LOVED it!!!

Um, Picnic with Kim Novak and William Holden. I just adore that woman's voice and wish I could speak like her!

The Mod Squad....
and now I'm doing the happy happy joy joy dance cuz a movie I've been looking for for over a decade is currently on FMC!!!
It's a 1970s cheese feast of a TV movie called Terror on the Beach...
Dennis Weaver, Estelle Parsons and Susan Dey about a family on a camping trip at the beach being terrorized by a hippie cult or some sort of counter culture group...ala Mansonite-like types.
It's funky fabulous film with Weaver as a Fred MacMurry-ish/Ward Cleaver like Pop who is mad at his "Meathead" of a son who plans to drop out of college because he doesn't want the chase the white collar dreams dad laid out for him but...he's more conservative than he thinks because he is quick to judge the leader and his band of psychopathic-happy-followers...albeit rightfully so. His father, wary tho fearful of making rash judgments, is clued in to the danger too late to get his family out safely before the tormenting really begins..... and so now I return to my cheese fest!

I watched the first half of "Don't Answer the Phone". It's about a disturbed photographer (and Vietnam vet) that terrorizes Los Angeles by going around strangling lingerie-clad young women in their homes.
It was on IFC the other night and I recorded it. Maybe I can stay awake and see the end. ;D
