I saw Inglourious Basterds on Sunday. I was killing tome until I had to pick up my daughter from a birthday party. Unfortunately, she got the pick up time wrong and I had to leave the movie with still an hour to run. I wasted my money and will have to return half way through and see the ending before it is out of the theatres.... >:(

It was really cute, but somewhat predictable-that is not necessarily a bad thing. I have to say that it was totally entertaining and yes, I would recommend watching it. The funniest thing to me was actually in the deleted scenes on the DVD. I understand why they cut it out but it was just hysterical.

It was more like Some Kind of Wasted Time.

Last Man On Earth ~ It stars Vincent Price  8)  Not a bad movie considering it's low budget black and white.

It's a great movie! FYI: The first remake was "The Omega Man" starring Charleton Heston  and the second remake was "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith.

I saw Help! the other day an wish that the BBC showed "A Hard Day's Night" instead.

All last week VH1 and VH1Classic showed all kinds of Beatles shows....Help, HDN, a Paul concert, The U.S. vs John, the movie Backbeat, the Top 10 Beatles Videos of all time, Imagine, a show called "Electric Proms" which was another Paul concert, and I recorded them all on my DVR. Right now I'm watching The Making of Sgt Pepper while I do laundry.

Someone wonderful also put all 3 episodes of The Beatles Anthology on dvd for me.  Matthew says he has to see the 3rd one because he needs to know why they broke up.  Not that my explaining was enough.  ::)  At 9 years old, he's becoming quite the little Beatlemaniac himself...I only influence him with the best stuff.  :)

Matthew and I saw that too-I didn't like the guy that was Freddy, (he MUST be blonde, didn't they know that?!) but the rest of the cast really WAS good! And Scooby was cute!

FINALLY watched Marley & Me.  I've had it since the day it came out, but I kept hearing how sad it was, so it's just been sitting there waiting for me to watch it.  I loved it!  I really like Jennifer Aniston, and thought she did a great job, it's weird to see her flip out and get angry, but I thought she was good-I could really relate to her character at different times throughout the movie-this is also probably only the 2nd or 3rd movie I've ever watched with Owen Wilson, he normally does nothing for me. But he was good in his own odd way....the end totally shredded my heart to bits, I cried for the last 30 minutes of it and for awhile after, but it was a trip well worth taking as far as I'm concerned!  :)
