About ten minutes of the film The English Patient, unitl we discovered that Die Another Day was on another channel.

We enjoyed it but, for a PG rated film, the language was a little too much at times.  I think most of it went over the kids heads.

Yesterday, ABC Family was showing both the original version of "Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" (which I've seen numerous times) and the 2005 remake, "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory." I watched portions of the remake last night, and it's pretty good. It seems to follow the book version a little more. The Umpa Lumpas look quite different, though.

I would like to know the answer to that question also.  I missed Sweeney Todd in the theaters and have been meaning to rent it but I so hate renting movies.  Usually wait until someone else has it then borrow the DVD.  Is it worth making the effort to rent it?

Firstly, it is a lesser known musical and one that died a death when on in the West End of London.

Secondly, I did not know any of the songs and cannot recall any the melodies. Being able to recall a tune makes it a more rememorable.

Thirdly, the plot was followable, but you had to hear the words/lyrics to understand it properly.

Fourthly, the direction is typical Tim Burton, but I still need to see Beetlejuice.

Fifthly, good art direction it won the Oscar this year.

And sixthly, it was drawn out, but I did like it, but I would have prefered to see it on stage not on the screen

Well I love it but I am a strange bird.  I like it better than the original grease.  most people don't like it tho.

Just got back from seeing "In Bruges" at the cheap movie theater.  It started slow, but picked up finally.  It was very good.  Gory, but good.

We just finished watching Tom Hanks in "Mazes and Monsters" (1982). 

Saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall .....surprisingly funny movie. The first few minutes I had that old familiar feeling that I was wasting my time...again....but it really picked up with some more clever writing and good comic timing.. :)

Yes, Great movie.  I purchased a copy of the DVD a few months back but have yet to open and watch it. 

If I have seen a movie once I rarely ever watch it again.  Unless I am really bored.

The last movie I watched was INVASION over the internet.  I was planning to see that movie when it came out in the theaters and I am so glad that I didn't.  Not a good movie.

That was a surprise movie to me. I thought it was going to suck but I was surprised that I really enjoyed it. (Revenge of the Nerds was also a surprise movie to me.)

First Gremlins was awesome (I even remember seeing it in the theater which was doubly awesome - especially the Blender scene.  :D ;D)

The Strangers over the internet.

I didn't want to spend the money to see it in the theaters but I was curious about the movie.  It was available for viewing online so why not.  The quality was crappy and the movie was just as crappy.  Glad I saved my money.
