Pirates 3 last week.  Better than I thought it would be.  And in case no one has responded to the question of a 4th movie, my understanding is that they filmed all 3 then called it quits (I guess there aren't many places to go after the end of the world).

Tonight we rented "Deliver Us From Eva" (better than I could have thought--was expecting the worst though), Kings Ransom (I didn't watch it) and Flags of Our Fathers which I will watch Sunday.  I want to rent The Queen and Letters from Iwo Jima.

Sunday afternoon I'm hoping to get to see Shrek 3 finally, then Surf's Up before it leaves the theatre.

We saw a movie at the theater yesterday that got very little advertising - Mr. Brooks.  It was a good serial killer movie.  Interesting.

I just saw Live Free or Die Hard.  I thought it was a really good movie.  Typical Die Hard, with comedy and action.  A good break from all the Summer Hollywood blockbusters.


Saw a preview to "The Hitman," based off the video game.  Sweeet.

Tonight went and saw The Invisible.  It wasn't what the synopsis/trailer led me to believe at all, but it was...eh..alright.  Really nice scenery. I think it must have been filmed around Seattle.  And the acting was good, music was good, just the writing had some...weak spots in it.  Apparently it was based on a Swedish novel and movie, so maybe it lost something in translation.

yes, this was a cute movie & I wouldn't mind seeing it again

i saw captivity. it was hilarious. i wasn't gonna see it but it got a six percent! rating on rottentomatoes. really bad movies get 20 percent. so of course i had to check it out to see why it got so panned.

i thought it was stupid, but i liked it. it amused me.

An Inconvenient Truth - saw about 40 minutes so far and it's good. Al Gore does a very good job and deserves a lot for his efforts.

there's a line about "jodie foster in the accused" in the wedding crashers that’s really gruesome and offensive. and i’m tough to offend. it sorta lost me after that, the movie.

i can neither confirm nor deny having seen or knowing anything about “mystic pizza,” which is, as we all know, the chickiest chick flick since “the girl slaves of morgana le fay.”

MGM's teen movie Sleepover was on tv, and I went to see H.P.5(phoenix) in theatre last Wed.

Finished "Braveheart" over the weekend. Yes, it does live up to the hype (for those who still have not seen it in 12 years, lol).

the movie i watched last night, "sting of death," is about a monstrous mutant half-man half-jellyfish (apparently it's the only such movie in existence, which is weird cuz you'd think, half-man, half-jellyfish, that's a pretty good idea as far as monster movies go... you'd think there'd be a bunch)... but anyway, they talk a lot about "portuguese men of war," which evidently is another way to say "jellyfish."

and they say foreign film is inaccessible.

omg! i noticed in the beginning that anna is drawing a picture of francoise running in the woods. i didn’t pick up on that the first five times i saw it. anna’s drawing is this total foreshadowing of this thing that happens later. cuz francoise can’t get the third artifact to get her through the woods until she rubs the dwarf’s ring of life against the tree trunk to summon the horse. so the woods become this place where things get weird. you’ll know what i mean if you see it. maybe. it might in fact be the most complicated soft-core skin flick in human history.

HAHA! I caught that on television once. Then they put it on DVD!? Except I think the DVD one is edited for.....stuff. I thought it sucked. Not enough pr0n.

I saw some weird movie on cable where these women in ripped up shirts and jeans were running through a jungle violently shooting guns at these mean looking army guys
