Maybe this will bring back America's love affair with the road and cross country trips with the family. Do you own the DVD now? Have you seen the bonus features? They had a nice featurette on Route 66 and the old towns.

Just got back from seeing Deja Vu starring Denzil Washington and Val Kilmer.

Really good movie!

I just got home from seeing Babel.
I'm not sure what the reviews are on this movie. But I liked it a lot. It gave you an awful sense of forboding with each scene. It's kind of like Crash, but deals with the different areas of the world.. and they are all tied together. I think Brad Pitt really acted well in this movie.. and I have to say I found his crows feet very attractive. He has aged quite nicely.  I hope he's nominated for an oscar for this one. The little Moroccan kid should be also nominated.. as well as the Japanese deaf girl.

The weirdest thing about it, is that it actually happened. You should read the book. The book is one of my favorite books of all time. I finished it in 1 night. Augusten Burroughs is my favorite author. I had the chance to attend a reading and meet him in May last summer.
