Sun is out, but it's really cold. There's also about six inches of snow on the ground.

Like a blizzard right now, can barely make out the browns game on tv it's snowing so much lol. Supposed to be at least 6 inches or so apparently.

We were supposed to get 12-16 inches of snow over the course of the weekend.  So far we got about 6-8 inches of snow yesterday.  There could be another round coming through today.

Snowing....again.  We had almost a foot last Friday, now they said we would get about 2-3inches, but it is up to six and snowing like a sun of a gun.  :(

We've had calm, dry and wintery weather for the past (nearly) two weeks, which is very rare. It usually lasts for only a couple of days tops.
Nights had temperatures below zero, days just above (I'm speaking centigrade here, of course).

But the end is nigh...Rising temperatures and rain (later) are expected for the coming week. :\'(

This morning was magical, though...We've had fog this night, and with the low temperatures, hoar frost had formed and set on trees. And then the sun came up...all that was missing was the snow, really.
I took some pictures. Hope they'll turn out OK. :-\\ Of course, I found better spots to take pictures after I'd run out of photos. :(

The wind was so bad at three this morning that it woke me up.

It's about the same as Jessica's.  We have a winter weather warning for snow, wind, etc.  It's about 20, no idea what the wind chill is (but for how crazy the weathervane is going, there is a wind).  Dunes are blocked from view by the blowing snow.  It's been fun to watch the little swirling snow "tornadoes" on the porch.  The wind woke us up, too.

We are switching between the Detroit/KC and GB/Chicago games.

Thats funny.  I went to Sydney and Melbourne in May 2003 for 2 weeks.  Supposedly Australia had been in a drought for 7 years or something, I can't remember how long they told me.  Anyway, it rained all but 2 or 3 days I was there.  LoL.  But the trip was still awesome.


There is a big storm headed my way.  It crashed into California and over the Sierra Nevada Mtns, and now to Utah.  Jeez, I can't wait.  Winter is wonderful.    ;D

Yes, Austarlia is a strange place. It has been raining most of this week in Brisbane but the catchment dams only recieved a few centimetres (or a couple of inches). The main water supply dam is below 20% capacity (after the rain) and we are on Level 6 water restrictions. Just what a city of 2 million people needs....

When we were en route to London from North Wales we caught sight of a weather forecast saying that London would get some snow by the weekend.  I take it you didn't get any?



Here the weather is finally warming up and the snow (which has been here since 13th December) might completely thaw.

It's like, uber hot!!

Got up to a nice 35°C (95°F) yesterday. Still warm today, and another warm one on Monday. And no rain forecast really for quite some time.

We're under drought conditions, strict fire ban and no relief in sight.

I heard 1-3,3-6 or 6-10 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow morning making it treacherous.At least it's on the weekend.That means less service at Pathmark and hardly any customers which is good for us.

The weatherman says England could have snow at the end of the week.
