There are times when I see a long post and think to myself, I can't read this, and move on.  I recommend to remove the post where it's at, and repost it and maybe someone will acknowledge.

I still stand by most of what I said ... so ... left the others intact. However, in the 'heat of the moment' ... and for all the humour I might show here .... I can get quite irritated ... about certain things .... and feel I have to let it all out. I probably go overboard after a lot of alcohol ......  :-[

I got into too much mischief so I decided my life & those around me would be happier if I didn't anymore, not an easy thing to do, especially if it's something you love to do, but was necessary in my case. I'm fine not drinking and I do enjoy waking up not hungover  :D my friends wives used to not want them going out with me because they'd come home way too drunk and really late, but now they like them going out with me  ;D

as for your own personal enjoyment of wine, beer and spirits. I say enjoy it as long as it doesn't get you into trouble.

When you swing from a positive frame / feeling calm / good mood ... to swearing BIG time / ranting and raving at inanimate objects/ feeling EXTREMELY pissed off / wondering if the neighbours can hear you .... 'cause you're SO  frustrated that the wind has just blown your newly purchased temperature thermometer to the ground ... and it ends up smashed. You don't even have the satisfaction / knowledge of whether it ever worked in the first place.

Then you get to the bathroom with that new adhesive toothbrush holder ... and find the holes are ridiculously large so that the brush falls easily through !

Might as well just have thrown that money down the drain GRR !

Yes, I was stone cold sober when all this happened ... but ... I don't handle frustrations /set-backs at all well ! A bit like 'Mercury' of 'The metal men'.

That's happened to me on BOTH counts !

Seagull: I was down at this topless beach 25 (?) years back .. no trees or anything nearby ... lying on a towel in the middle of the beach, 'perving' on the half naked chicks  ... when this frigging seagull .... on the wing ... decided of all places /people going on this planet ... to drop a load on  my head .. on the wing !

Man .... was I angry / did not know what to do. Tried rubbing a bunch of sand in my hair .. to know avail . In the end, I took my pals advice and walked down to the water to wash it off there.

Pigeon: I was sitting with a mate from a computer course, enjoying lunch. They expected us to wear business attire ... which I did. Suddenly ... this pigeon made me aware of it's presence. By the time it was finished with me ... it really WAS 'business' attire !

Well, maybe I can laugh about it now .... but I wanted to kill the bastard at the time !

I was somewhat pissed off, but not nearly as much as a few years back when I got carded to purchase a movie with a 14A rating.  That one had me fuming big time.  I'm just waiting for the day when one of these places accuses me of having a fake ID, then I'll get real defensive ... "You can't f*cking fake an Ontario Drivers License so back off before I sue your ass for harassment" lol

Some people are just pigs who don't give a (blank) where they park. Like I said, this thing I witnessed 15 years ago happened outside a restaurant (which is some other kind of establishment now), and at the time I remember I was very picky about seeing people park in places that aren't spaces. Things like that drove me nuts (and still do, but I don't get as outwardly angry).

DYHIW the cable company who sent out one of their representatives to fix my internet screws it up even worse so now I have to shell out MORE money to get it fixed.  My hubby had it fixed but when the guy from the company came to complete his service call, he fried the modem by hooking a 15 volt cable to a 5 volt modem...  ::)  Now on payday we have to buy a new modem or else subscribe to their wireless service for $20 more a month (as if we don't pay enough already!)
