DYHIW....you can't find your owner's manual for your VCR and you can't figure out where the model number to look up the manual to hook the freaking thing back up to the TV. You would think it would be so easy, but it's not. >:(

The green tea stuff looks promising. Anything with more than "light" hold does not play well with my hair. I'll see if my stylist can get this..... I don't mean chemically, I just use a curling iron to do it. After I had my hair chemically straightened (which never really have worked on me anyway), it was CURLIER :o I just have weird hair ;D
I didn't mean chemically, just with a ceramic flat iron - I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks they have wierd hair. :o

Last night I slept like a baby. I was so tired, I went to bed at 10:30 (the earliest for about 4 years!), and got up at 7:30 in time for school... 9 hours undisturbed sleep!

Less curly (in my case) would be a good thing. I don't see it happening, though. If anything, it's becoming MORE curly and unruly. ::)
So why not celebrate your curls? I gave up on bangs and grew my hair all one length, and just encourage them to be with a lot of scrunching. I get a lot of compliments on my hair from total strangers, even when I think I'm having a bad hair day. Curly hair is back in for 5 minutes.... ;D

maybe there are some who would engage you deadrockstar in debate and find it enjoyable to tango intellectually, and give back but what can you do. I just come here to disengage from seriousness. If the wiring was the way it SHOULD had been, then the job would have only taken a few hours. Our guy even had to call in an "expert" to figure out what to do. It is all figured out now but he has to come back on Sunday to do the work he originally came to do. But, I couldn't get on the computer because the computer is on the same circuit as the spot he was trying to sort out all the messed up wires. ::)

Hang on, help is on the way (LRB) you have to move to the front of the bus. I learned that from going on my kids field trips. if you sit in back you not only hear the carnage, you see it and it intensifies the brattiness. If you're up front, you only hear it and don't have to witness the bad behaviour. me and a couple other parents learned that trick after 1 bad experience and it sure helped. Of course there has to be a seat up front.

This is the second time this has happened to her. The first time was a couple of years ago when our neighbors moved. She and their three kids were really close. I guess that's what comes from living in a trailer park...lots of friends moving.

Our dryer at the lake is like that. The only time it really bothers me is when hubby MOVES the pliers ::)
We had a dryer that malfunctioned for a while, but we never had to use pliers to fix it. In fact, the dryer that we used to have constantly ran when the door was shut, thus wasting a lot of precious electricity, so we replaced it in June 2004. Altogether that dryer had lasted eight years (we got it ten years ago this month).

do you mean a combined washer/dryer or two separate ones? I wouldn't buy a combined one. I've used my in-laws a lot recently nad it is hopeless as a dryer. you can only tumble half a wash load at a time and it takes longer then a dedicated dryer to dry a load.

We were roommates for about 4 years, and she was almost like a younger sister. This was 30 years ago and we always kept in
touch, had lunch and all that. She is very prepared for this, much more so than any of us. She lived a great life and did all the
things she wanted to do, knowing that her time would be shorter than planned.

DYHIW you make plans to go out of town to see a concert and it's rescheduled for a date you can't make.....at least we're still going out of town so we can get some "alone" time without kids :P
I have been there in the worst way. DYHIW that happpens? yes, but turns out ToTO was playing a small venue in SanFran for twenty bucks a pop, so we went there, got in and it was great.

Oh yeah...happens to me all the time. I typically select "1 Hour" from the drop-down listbox on top as I log in. Often times that's not enough time to do everything I want. That's why lately I've been clicking on the "Login" link and then typing "100" or "120" in the textbox that says "Minutes to stay logged in." Sometimes that happens when I play an Arcade game. If my session times out, I can't register a score...even if it's a really good one! :-[
