Subject: Don't you just love politicians?

Yesterday, Bob Carr, the Premier of our fine state of New South Wales announced his resignation. In the wake of this unexpected announcement, one of the news channels decided to do a brief interview with the Opposition leader, John Brogden, to ask his opinion about the resignation, and what he thinks about Carr's possible replacement, Morris Iemma. Here's the discussion, paraphrased verbatim because I can't remember it exactly, but this is the gist of it:
Newsreader: Welcome John, what do you think of Bob Carr's resignation?
Brogden: Well, it doesn't really change anything. NSW still has the slowest-growing economy in the country, the trains are a mess and the public health system is in bad shape.
Newreader: Do you think that Morris Iemma is ready to be Premier?
Brogden: It's just a case of changing the rider in midstream. It's all going to depend on what the Unions want and who they want as leader of the Labor Party. The economic situation isn't going to change just because you change jockeys. You're still going to have this tired old horse running things.
Nice way to answer the question, John.

What are you a bunch of communists?ÂÂ
Socialists, actually. ;) Although our current administration would have us slough off this guise for a much more American economic model.
