Subject: Sick Schiavo memo was authentic, and written by Republican senior staffers

A senior staff member of a Florida Republican wrote it, and Tom Delay used talking points directly from it. The right-wing blogs have been going on about it for weeks, claiming it was a forged document. Guess they'll all offer a big old retraction this week right? At least Fox News printed the story, without too much spin.
At least the senator whose staff it originated from apologized to the Senator they mentioned in the memo, because he refused to support the passage of their bill.

All the blah, blah, blah, about how they didn't know about it and where it came from etc., blowing smoke.
The memo only set down in writing exactly how the majority of conservative politicians thought and felt
about the issue. There actions screamed politics, not compassion. I am sure the aide is the fall guy and will find hImself in a cushy job, with a cushy salary for taking the heat. Politics as usual.

DeLay should be getting impeached right now! He and his cronies think they can just get away with murder out there. If DeLay is allowed to remain in office, it's like saying it's OK to make war on the Constitution.

Tom is in big trouble. Evan his Repub fellow tracelers are begining to attack (well, that's too strong) him. I just hope he can hang on for a year or so. The more scandles the Repubs need to excuse, the better. Maybe evan his district in Texas will repudiate him (dream on, we're talking Texas here). So I say, "go Tom go, hang in there against the Godless attacks you are suffering. Your protests will only make your ethical transgressions and your political opportunism more blatant.
