Subject: What's worse: Old School (pre-90s I guess) or New School (post-1980s I guess) PC

I say "Better than now". While they are both idiotically double-standard, at least back in the day you weren't considered an a**hole for not watching people get shot on the boob tube. I don't know where to draw the line, probably somewhere in the 1990s.
Old School is like race jokes and guns are cool, but language, sex, and graphic violence is not. Today, race jokes are controversial, carrying a butter knife on a plane makes you a terrorist, but you have easy access to all the language, sex, and graphic violence you want.
To sum it up, back in the day people were too careless and today people are too sensitive.
