Exactly the same happened to Greta Garbo many years back?
Really, well I don't recall. I was more into Bridget Bardot and Raquel Welch as a young pubescent lad.

If it was not Greta Garbo, it was an actress of her same stature.

It probably was her. She was nicknamed a pinup girl.

It still looks like an E, it just most of the lowercase a's and such are more round which gives off a round apearance for all of the letters.  It's quite odd
Can you draw one for us to see?

...but posts can still be removed when the postings have been linked successively by the same word and the middle song can still removed, for example:

Fings Ain't Wot They Used To Be ~ Max Bygraves

Ain't Misbehavin' ~ Tommy Bruce & The Bruisers

Ain't Gonna Wash For A Week ~ Brook Brothers

But seriously have we got time to trawl through the whole thread looking for links like that where we could remove our own post?

Does post count really matter that much?

I remember when a really huge thread I had been part of was deleted some of the others were immediately looking to see which thread had been deleted because they noticed how much their post count had gone down.  I hadn't noticed at all.

I am oblivious to my count. Every once in a while I notice my penquin rating changes, it comes a bit of a surprise.

A spelling mistake re: the content of their site? Depends on the site, but if it's not a blog sort of thing where they're just putting random thoughts or whatever, then I'd say no, they probably want to know about and correct it.

Excellent Jack the Ripper in the movie Time After Time with Malcom Macdowell, who played the villain in that, he was also in Titanic. He was evil as JTR  >:(
That is probably the one I am thinking of.

That is probably the one I am thinking of.
Malcolm invents a time machine back in old English times, late 1800's perhaps, whenever JTR was around, and JTR uses it to escape being captured and ends up in 1980's, so Macdowell comes after him, meets Mary Steenbergen and has it out with JTR. It's a good movie.

Now there are only 68 to go.  I don't know what to add to make this a legitimate post though.  Ah, here, is a good story.
For February vacation we are going to Los Angeles.  My sister was there this past week and I asked her to take a look
at the hotel I booked us into, just to make sure of the location, see what it looks like from the outside, it isn't a chain hotel.
So she and a friend not only drove by, but stopped, told the man at the head desk that her "baby sister" is going to be staying
there in a couple of weeks, and asked if they could see what the rooms are like, and he gave them a bit of a tour.  I couldn't help but laugh.  This is something you associate with high school kids, not women approaching 60.  ::)

Take the orange line to Tottenham court toad, get off there and catch a Black line train to Leicester square. From there, hope on a mauve line train and go to Green Park. Get off and jump on to a grey line train to Baker street. From baker street make your way to Aldgate Easr and then take the green line to Westminster.

Errrm, i dunno, my coffee mug with the map is in the sink waiting for when i come home this evening to wash it. I was just plotting the most circuitous route.

I've always been quite the fan of the London Underground system. It may not run as efficiently as the Chicago or New York mass transit systems and may not be as pretty as the metro in Paris, but it's certainly a wonderful system.

PIPPIN AND MERRY GO TO WHITE TOWER

Copyright 2006 Morgan Dollar Records.  Distribute as you please, as long as
credit is given.

SCENE 1:  Pippin and Merry smoking weed on a Shire porch.

MERRY: There's nothing better than smoking greenery while looking at the scenery.
PIPPIN: Ditto.  I'm hungry.
MERRY: Me too.  Must be the munchies.
PIPPIN: Where should we get some chow?
MERRY: How about White Tower?

<Frodo and Sam walk by>

PIPPIN: Want to go to White Tower with us?
SAM: Nah, how about we just get some beer in Stock?
PIPPIN: Sam, why don't you go to Queer Lodgings, you ****** of wood!
SAM: Oh come on, that's harsh.  Me and Mr. Fruit - I mean Frodo will be off.
MERRY: Let's roll.

SCENE 2: Pippin and Merry talking in their car, to Bucklebury Ferry.

MERRY: So, where's White Tower?
PIPPIN: I don't know, dude, they're everywhere these days.
MERRY: Let's go to The Prizzancing Pony and ask Butterbur.
PIPPIN: Good idea.

<Black Riders come up to car in their car, looking like thugs>

MERRY: Who are you?
BLACK RIDER: WE BE RYDAS! BLACK RYDAS! REPRESENTING MORDOR since the
Second Age. SOUTHSIDE!
PIPPIN: What do you want?
BLACK RIDER: OUR CREW LEADER SAURON'S RING-BLING?
MERRY: Sorry, we don't have any "Ring-Bling".  Wanna head to White Tower with us.
BLACK RIDER: Nah, we were going to drink beer up in stock.
PIPPIN: ****** OF WOOD!

SCENE 3: Pippin and Merry enter Old Forest in car.  Sign says "LEAVING THE SHIRE:
Old Man Willow: 20 Miles; House of Tom Bombadil, 25 Miles, Bree, 40 Miles"

PIPPIN: This place gives me the creeps.
MERRY: Me too.  Do you wanna go to Bombadil's?  I've heard he does a lot of
chronic, and Goldberry's supposed to be a babe.
PIPPIN: Yeah! Tom's so ghetto.
MERRY: Let's roll!

SCENE 4: In Tom Bombadil's house.  Bombadil in circa 2000 gangsta gear.

PIPPIN: Hey Tom, wassup?
TOM: Yo, hobbit-dawg!  Not much.  You got any Longbottom on ya?
PIPPIN: *hands chronic* Only the finest.
MERRY: Well, then let's toke!

<The whole crew smoking.  Goldberry is standing in the room. Merry eyes
Goldberry lustfully>

MERRY: Tom, -
TOM: I've seen the movie.  No.
MERRY: Okay.
PIPPIN: So, what's it like being #1?
TOM: It's tight, man. Even them punk willows peep my rhymes.
MERRY: Will you rhyme for us?
TOM: Nah, let's smoke!
MERRY: Alright.
PIPPIN: Will you take us to the Prizzancing Pony?
TOM: Only if you pimp my ride.
PIPPIN: Thumbs, yo.
TOM: Let's roll!

Supposedly The Phone Will Ring
Right After You Do This.

Just read the little stories and
think of a wish as you scroll all
the way to the bottom. There is
a message there - then make your
wish.

No attachment on this one.

Stories

I'm 13 years old, and I wished
that my dad would come home from
the army, because he'd been having
problems with his heart and right
leg. It was 2:53 p.m . When I made
my wish. At 3:07 p.m. (14 minutes
later), the doorbell rang, and
there my Dad was, luggage and all!!

I'm Katie and I'm 20 and I've been
having trouble in my job and on the
verge of quitting. I made a simple
wish that my boss would get a new
job. That was at 1:35 and at 2:55
there was an announcement that he
was promoted and was leaving for
another city. Believe me...this
really works!!!

My name is Ann and I am 45 years
of age. I had always been single
and had been hoping to get into a
nice, loving relationship for many
years. While kind of daydreaming
(and right after receiving this email)
I wished that a quality person would
finally come into my life. That was at
9:10 AM on a Tuesday. At 9:55 AM
a FedEx delivery man came into my
office.He was cute, polite and
could not stop smiling at me. He
started coming back almost everyday
(even without packages) and asked me
out a week later. We married 6
months later and now have been
happily married for 2 years.

What a great email it was!!

Just scroll down to the end, but
while you do, think of a wish.
Make your wish when you have completed
scrolling. Whatever age you are, is the
number of minutes it will take for your
wish to come true. ex.you are 25 years
old, it will take 25 minutes for your wish
to come true).

However, if you don't send this to
people in 5 minutes, you will have bad
luck for years!!

Go for it!!!

I've had that happen before.  It occurs by accidentally submitting your score twice.

Yet - as stated - IT FROZE!!!!
I didn't hit refresh or anything!!!
It froze - I clicked View Highscores and VOILA!!!!
Pi$$ me off!!! >:(

Did two scores show up or just 1?  I think it's some kind of glitch

I know when Marshal got the top score in Duck Hunt, it accused him of cheating.  Perhaps the game doesn't expect these kinds of high scores.  lol
