Well, me and my mam were sitting on the floor next to a bench, but we were the only people over on that side of the room, and neither of us had a mobile on us. A couple were sitting on the floor against a large stone pillar in the centre of the hall, the Psychic medium was sitting on the stairs at the far corner of the room and everyone else was scattered around the sides of the room, which I don't think was close enough to cause interference (it was a bloody big room!)... and wouldn't the interference have started from the beginning of the vigil, and not got more frequent over time?!
