Except that there is someone else here called Andy who some people call Andy.  Causes some confusion when you think they are talking about Alchoholica and they mean Apricot.
Calling one Andy and the other Andrew will solve the problem.

Maybe that's what already happens but I hadn't spotted it?

Anyway I must go now and possibly attempt to do some work!

We've had a lot of funding recently to extend our sports facilities.  One such is the indoor cricket centre and the ECB cricket academy.

XML (Extensible Markup Language) is a W3C initiative that allows information and services to be encoded with meaningful structure and semantics that computers and humans can understand. XML is great for information exchange, and can easily be extended to include user-specified and industry-specified tags

I still have no idea what it does or what an XML feed is  ;D

When I was in college, all students were given bus passes assuming they were a full student.  During one summer, I wasn't taking any summer classes at all, but I still went in to get my bus pass and got one with flying colours.  The next year, I got a letter from the college telling me that I had to pay $40 for the bus pass that I wasn't s'posed to have or else I won't be able to graduate.

I didn't pay, I still graduated, and therefore ripped the school off for $40 bucks  ;D

HAHAHAHA!! That's so weird, me and my friends pulled a really similar scam.
In the city i lived in in England, Leicester. One of the major bus companys had a scheme where if you were a student needing to get from a point in the county to a point in the city you could get a bus pass for 70 pounds.. here is the catch, you could use this pass 24/7 anywhere anytime. I.E free bus use for a year for the sum of 70 pounds. Well useing the bus just once will cost you about 1 pound 50 so as you can see, if your useing it 2-3.. or 11-12 times a week (like we did) you save a huge amount of money.

We all just took in the same letter from Matt's school, which was in the city and got out cheap passes  ;D

I don't know why kids over here don't start Algebra till high school (though I started in eighth grade because I'm homeschooled).  Eight years of arithmetic seems like way too much.  It seems I learned almost everything about arithmetic in the fourth grade and the next few years I just kept reviewing and relearning the stuff from fourth grade.   :P

As regard to the provisional driver's license, do driving lessons start now, or is it the Theory Test next?

My mam booked some lessons for me for my 18th Birthday. she booked 6 hours on the Simulator (3 2hr lessons every Wednesday) and once that's done and out of the way, they said they'll start getting the lessons sorted. Wednesday's the  only day I can have lessons because I finish school at dinnertime, meaning when I get home I have time to do coursework, etc. And it's the only day of the week where I definately CANNOT be at work at all full stop, so it looks as if lessons (with an instructor) will start on Wednesday 9th November 2005 at 2:00pm  :)

The simulator is just basically like the driver's side of a car, with a screen to the left, to the right and a big main screen ahead. It's quite good, ackshlee  :)

I actually did a google image search on Tuesday with the word "Jessicaism"(which is something someone mentioned on gamefaqs), I had tried "Jessica hentai" before and nothing came up. "Jessicaism" on the other hand, did. It definelty woke me up, aaaiiiiyaaahhh!

Power amps set to explode.
Energy screams, magic and dreams

Metal for maniacs pure.
Faster than steel, fortune on wheels
Brain haemorrhage is the cure.

Still learning about sentence structure...  I've gotten down to the harder problems:  Translating English phrases into Latin.

English phrase:  The girls save the poet's life.

My translation:  Puellae vita poetae serva.

Thanks Andrew...

The next two I got were more difficult.  I think I was more or less correct though.

English phrase:  Without philosophy we often go astray and pay the penalty.

My translation:  Poena saepe erramus est debemus sine philosophiam.

--

English phrase:  If your land is strong, nothing terrifies the sailors and you ought to praise your great fortune.

My translation:  Si patrias valet est, nautas nihil terra et magna fortunae debes.

TopTrig12: Do you like Maddox?
SmarterChild: Maybe... What do you think?
TopTrig12: Maddox is cool.
SmarterChild: Yeah, I know Maddox is cool. Not warm, that's for sure.
TopTrig12: Chyeah.  But he's a kickass pirate.  And you can't spell "pirate" without "irate".
SmarterChild: What word would you like to spell-check?
TopTrig12: ...
