I know on livenirvana(which is a different site, I'm aware of that), there is a 50 PM limit(which means you have to clear it out after that if you want to get any more PMs). Another reason I keep mine low is that alot of them are just conversation or ones that aren't needed after awhile, so it's good for me to tidy up.

Okay, time to quote a passage from a book I had to read earlier for History.
"let her show him her breasts, her beauty for his wonder. He will lie with her in pleasure, and then the creatures"
"Show him your body. The hairy-bodied man will come to you and lie down on you; and then show him the things a woman knows how to do."
"And so the harlot, Shamhat, showed him her breasts, showed him her body. The hairy-bodied man came over to her, and lay down on her, and then she showed him the things a woman knows how to do."
...Yep.

I would, but he isn't there Wednesday or Monday, so i didn't really have the option. I'm not terribly concerned, i think tomorrow we are starting a graded discussion and i just wanted to have the right notes and what not.

Dammit... Today in my so-called history class, I have to write an essay on friendship. What the hell kind of a f**ked up history assignment is that anyway?
Of course, in the Bible, it portrays men as hugging and kissing each other, and suggests that that's the way it should be now, not acknowledging that there are just DIFFERENT CULTURES with different practices. There's nothing wrong with not being touchy-feely; I'm uncomfortable with it myself. This is bull. I hate writing assignments about why my textbook is right about something that doesn't have anything to do with history.

Advice to everyone: Watch "The Wizard of Oz" muted with "The Dark Side Of The Moon" playing. Start it right on the third roar of the MGM lion.
It'll blow your mind how closely in sync the album is with the film. The scene where Ms.Gulch approaches on her bike, the chimes on "Time" kick in. As Dorothy leaves the farm to run away, you hear the line "noone told you when to run". Nearly all of the song changes happen in sync with scene changes. "The Great Gig In The Sky"plays durng the scene where the house is lifted by the tornado into the sky. Lyrics go along with the film too. "Us And Them" is playing during the scene in Munchkin land when the Wicked Witch first appears; you hear them sing "Black" when it shows the witch, and then "Blue" when the camera cuts back to Dorothy(who wears a blue dress). When Dorothy first arrives in Munchkin land, the cash register at the beginning of time coincides EXACTLY with the moment she steps out of the house and the film goes to color. As Glenda(the Good Witch) arrives in her bubble, you hear the line "don't give me that do goody good bull****". The scene where she first meets Scarecrow and he sings "If I Only Had A Brain" the song "Brain Damage" is playing. When they first happen upon the Tin Man and Dorothy has her ear to him listening for a heartbeat, we hear a heart beat on the record.
And on and on. It was absolutely mind-blowing.
One cannot help but wonder if it was on purpose. The most famous song from the film is "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", and the famous album cover has a rainbow prism. Also interesting to note, in one scene on the farm you can see a tree with a triangle hanging from it. The whole concept for the album was supposedly a person going insane(Sid Barret in this case). Correct me if I am wrong, but at one time wasn't the phrase "over the rainbow" associated with being crazy?

Whoa, well I have neither the movie or the album. :o
Same here. This was at a friend's house. I'm DYING to buy both now.
Some other stuff:
-While Dorothy sings "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on the album you hear what sounds kinda like helicopters while she is gazing upward; it appears as if she is looking offscreen to the source of the sound, when you hear the explosion near the end of the song Toto's ears perk up.
-During the scene in Munchkinland, some other lines that go with the film are "and which is which" which(lol) is heard while the Wicked Witch is on-screen beside her dead sister(seems to be a wordplay, meant to sound like "witch is witch"), when Glenda leaves in her bubble you hear "down, down, down..out..out", and "haven't you heard? It's a battle of words ..." , as Glinda is whispering in Dorothy's ear and then returns to her battle of words with the wicked witch.
-During the second playthrough of the CD on "Time", during the scene in the poppy field close to Emerald City "... Home, home again ..." , As Tin Woodsman is once at home in being frozen in his rusted state from the snow just as he was when Dorothy found him in the first place, "Far away across the field ...", As The Fearless Foursome are in a poppy field and can see the Emerald City across it, "...Calls the faithful to their knees ..." as Scarecrow falls to his knee upon exiting the poppy field.
Also, I'd like to add one of the lines in the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is "behind the moon"; could that be where the title of the album originates(assuming this was intentional)? Another strange coincedince is that the last chapter of the book the movie is based on, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is titled "Home Again". The song "Time" is playing during the final scene of the film, which has the famous lyrics "home, home again".

Since I don't have the Wiz. of Oz on DVD and I don't have a DVD player on my computer, that will make it very hard to do.

I have just notice that I play my songs/music on WMP and the DVDs I watch are on WMP too, so I will have to install another application to watch the DVD.

There is a ring-road as a motorway that surrounds London called the M25, it has been describe as a car park more than a road, and it this that inspired Chris Rea to write Road To Hell.
