A bike ride can be found, but for me a good walk will suffice.

There are loads of good places to ride a bike around Sunderland.. the ski slope, down at the beach, near penshaw monument.. but my fave has to be Herrington County Park. It's huge and great on a summers day  8)

I love riding around Penshaw though.. theres countryside, hills and woodland trails so plenty of variety for people who favour riding the bicycle
