I was back when I was active duty, but I'm afraid my certification has expired.
I think if given the opportunity, you'd know what to do. I had certification also, long expired.

;D why yes I am well aware of the new & might I say, highly effective techniques and weren't you certified in CPR?
I've had a first aid certificate since I was seven years old. Every time I go to a refresher course either the CPR bit or the recovery position has changed, sometimes they both have.

I have a mask thing I'm supposed to wear if I give mouth to mouth. Also I am supposed to wear medical gloves when treating bleeding of any kind.

Evil soldiers of malice advance and smite my enemies,
Deceit grows through their ranks as they witness war crimes such as have never been seen before,
The propaganda machine grows and envelopes civilians as well as the enemy,
Such hatred has never been witnessed as now by the children of our supporters,
Infection for a generation, belligerence being praised unconditionally,
I am more deadly than death, more violent than violence,
I am more powerful than all the armys of history combined,
Man is powerless to stop my troops continuous path of devastation,
Destroying the civilian population,
Humiliation of the weak, condition of the poor and downtrodden,
Breathtaking Destruction, beautiful acts of carnage,
As war calms the tempest of civilian unrest, I create storms throughout the populace.

called the propaganda machine. i wasn't sure what to call it.
i was able to make the first stanza scan out a lot better than the second. i like these lyrics quite a lot though, i mean "like"'s not the word but they're easily adaptable to some very motorheady type riffs.

Pseudo-dilettante by Marsh
Don't want to make them laugh for a living
Don't want to be washed up and stale
No hosting specials on Thanksgiving
But mostly I don't want to fail
I am not their monkey
They won't play with me
How should I know what I want
I'm just a pseudo-dilettante
A smorgasbord of lifetime coffins
Hickory, oak, pine and more
You nail yourself right into one
And watch the closing door
We're living in naivety
When truth can be elusive
Enlightenment and happiness
Are mutually exclusive

oh, the usual. nerdy stuff mostly. Pie eating contests were fun, and let's just say that as a Anatomy Major, hands on experience concerning the structure and function of the human body was involved.
Must have been lots of fun. I bet you played lots of other dorky games with your sister sorority, like bobbing for apples.

This was based on a dream I had about a bald grinning girl who killed her father and put him in a box and presented the box to her grandfather, still grinning. It was very strange, and somehow when I was putting it into rhyme, it ended up becoming an anti-religion rant. "Intellectual decompression" is a phrase borrowed from Anton LaVey, but the rest of these words are all my own.
Intellectual Decompression by Marsh
A shiny adolescent girl
Suffocated her own father
Wrapped him up in lace and pearl
She thought that it was worth the bother
Come Grandpa’s birthday, he got a box
The apple of his eye was grinning
He opened it and saw the pox
Of fallen offspring, dead and sinning
A glowing orb of truth is mounted
Upon a golden double-edged sword
Ancient insanity unprecedented
Perverting the minds of the rich and the poor
Passionately premeditated
Immaculately congregated
Contrived emotional atmosphere
Can’t justify their godly fear
Finite minds won’t see the gains
When they all crucify their brains
Leave the thinking to the master
Do his will to see him faster
Let’s give ourselves now to the Lord
Lobotomized, but by the sword
He looks at them and sees the plague
His followers are blind and vague

Subject: Re: Longest Thread Ever
Written By: Philip Eno on 06/05/07 at 1:42 am
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
When you clap together both hands a sharp sound is heard; when you raise the one hand there is neither sound nor smell. Is this the High Heaven of which Confucius speaks? Or is it the essentials of what Yamamba describes in these words: "The echo of the completely empty valley bears tidings heard from the soundless sound?" This is something that can by no means be heard with the ear. If conceptions and discriminations are not mixed within it and it is quite apart from seeing, hearing, perceiving, and knowing, and if, while walking, standing, sitting, and reclining, you proceed straightforwardly without interruption in the study of this koan, you will suddenly pluck out the karmic root of birth and death and break down the cave of ignorance. Thus you will attain to a peace in which the phoenix has left the golden net and the crane has been set free of the basket. At this time the basis of mind, consciousness, and emotion is suddenly shattered; the realm of illusion with its endless sinking in the cycle of birth and death is overturned. The treasure accumulation of the Three Bodies and the Four Wisdoms is taken away, and the miraculous realms of the Six Supernatural Powers and Three Insights is transcended.

(also abbreviated and referred to as EHG) is an American Sludge metal band from New Orleans who formed in 1988. They have become one of the most important bands to emerge from the NOLA metal scene. Throughout the years, their core line-up has remained the same, with the exception of the bass guitarist, a slot which has seen several come and go.
