The 1968 Democratic National Confusion?
That was one of the categories on the game show "Win Ben Stein's Money." In case you haven't noticed, I've been using some of those in the subject line. If you've never watched that show before, you probably won't have a clue. All the categories on that show are a play on words, and the questions associated with them have something to do with the key words. For example, for the one I'm using for this reply ("Daylight come and Rwanda go home"), there was a question having to do with Rwanda. Anyway, the show "Win Ben Stein's Money" has been on Comedy Central, and the reruns currently air on GSN late at night. I don't think it's on tonight, though. :-\\

I've heard "Ghettochip Malfunction" and "Gameboy Homeboy".
Oh, okay.. personally, I like them more then the album versions.. the sounds in "Hell Yes" and "Que Unda, Guero?" annoy me a bit.. the instruments he uses.. but 8-Bit's remixes are good.

I like both the originals and the remixes... I prefer I prefer the original "Hell Yes" though. I take it you've heard the E-Pro remix too... That was pretty good. Lots of video game sound effects in that one.

Every time someone expresses the desire for this thread to end, it only further motivates it to keep going.. just like all the other threads like this one. If you get upset, you give the machine what it wants.
Again, I'd like to re-iterate that we really didn't care about the inactive member's birthday. It was all just a slight joke that were aren't letting go of, mainly because we know it bothers some people, but it doesn't do anything wrong.
You know why this thread is still here? You know why we do this?

I just think it makes no cents (or dollars, or any other currency) to keep a birhday thread around indefinitely. Especially if it's one for a member who just shows up once and leaves.
...It is a joke. No one *actually* cares about BECKS. That's the whole joke, people may find this thread thinking about Beck, but surprise, it's just about an obscure member which we hype up despite that he only has one post!

If it's so similar, then why are you so against it?
Because there are people who try to talk to me in Spanish like I'm obligated to know it.. people who are perfectly capable of speaking English who think that I should be able to perfectly translate random blasts of a foreign language.. if that happened with French, I'd hate French too.. but it's just Spanish.
Plus, some of the words piss me off.. like the Spanish for "computer".. that made me want to hurt someone.

Yanno... It's a language, what's there not to like? If you think like that, you might as well say you don't like English either.
The way it sounds, the words, the pronunciations, the way cases are arranged.. there's a lot to like and dislike in a language. Some people like the vowel-emphasis of French.. some people like the alternate pronunciations of Japanese.. I just happen to loathe Spanish. I'm not crazy about English or anything, but Spanish just flat out sucks.

I dislike the word 'gargantuan' but enjoy the word 'massive'. In essence, they mean the same thing.. but there are 'g's in 'gargantuan', as well as a 'gar', two sounds I happen to dislike. 'computadora' pisses me off because it ends in 'a' (I dislike that on words), it's totally ripping off another word (computer), it replaces 'er' with 'a' (which I hate, as in 'there's no otha I'd rather see.' or 'Like a brotha.'), and ends in 'dora' (another thing I just dislike). That's one example of a Spanish word I dislike. There are many more. Sure, I hate words from other languages, but most of the words that I dislike are in Spanish.
