Truly despicable especially they're already charging $10 a ticket for admission to one of their dumb movies.  I'd consider legislation against it (it wouldn't stand a chance of passing, of course).  The ticket charge is supposed to pay for the movie.  You can watch a TV program for free, thus commercial interruptions are palatable.  When you've paid $50 to get your spouse and your kids in the door and through the concession stand, why should you have to watch a commercial for Sprite...especially when you just bought some Sprite?  Why can't they just be happy with product placement, like in the old days!

The only commercial in the last ten years I have not despised is the out of work, out of water viking norsemen for capitol credit or whatever they're promoting. I have to say I laughed at the first few of those.
Other than football games, I record programs I want to watch just for the sake of skipping thru the "lie shorts", or commercials.
For the commercial, hire beautiful actors/actresses to pretend they are fighting to not have an orgasm because they traded their money for our unnecessary product/service that everyone who's anyone must possess or they'll be left behind in the dark ages, then run it three times per hour on every network for the next ten months because high-fiving six-figure ad execs fancying themselves as brilliant, figure the public simply cannot get enough of their incredibly entertaining creations (see creditreport.com garage band commercials, which were semicute to view once, but ran 22 times per hour on every channel for what seemed five years). Oh...and make it twice as loud as the programming they tuned in to see.

It's supposed to sound wholesome but it's the first time I've heard that phrase.  I think their lawyers told them they couldn't say "organic," "native," or anything else conscientious consumers want to hear.

2 - Toyota Some dumb jock cuts apart the 2011 models on the lot with a chain-hacksaw(is there really such a thing!?) and says the cars go through 3000 different safety tests. Apparently all for nothing, since once you cut a car in half, it can't be sold!

3 - Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage A screwball in yellow tights drops into schools and tosses JD's breakfast products at kids to defeat such idiotic 'morning villains' as the Crab, Dimwit, and Slow-Motion Man. The late great Jimmy Dean would never stand for this garbage! I guess it's no different than the stupid Wendy's ads that came out in the wake of Dave Thomas's passing.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I really didn't like the commercial Diddy--or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days--did pimping out his new album. IF you have to almost beg people to buy your album, something is wrong here. Fans are supposed to ask the artist for music, not the other way around.  :)
