When Home Depot used to have a big rack of free AOL discs in their front entrance, I used to take at least two racks worth of the discs home with me.
I know the best places to find free AOL discs. You can find them in Home Depot, Sears, the Rite Aid check-out and the Electronics section at Wal-Mart.
If you need some keep cases for your DVDs and don't want to pay the high prices at Staples, just take a Cargo Pants worth of those free AOL discs that come in keep cases.

It seems to me that almost every drug that they advertise has the same side effects... headache, nausea, "sexual side effects" (whatever that means), diarrhea, projectile vomiting, and so on.  After hearing those disclaimers, the cure sounds worse than the disease!  ::)

There are some dumb T-Mobile commericals out there too. In one, some guys are in a car glued to the back of a big truck with a "How Am I Driving?" sticker on the back. So the guys try to call the number from their cell phones, but have problems. One has no service, one's is roaming, I forget what the other one's problem is. Anyway, they run over something and it creates an explosion; the car's back axle detaches and flies away. That's completely disgusting! >:(

This was an older commercial, but the Eagle Snacks ads that featured TV's Odd Couple Jack Klugman and the late Tony Randall. Tony rambled about what a good name Eagle was and quoted some Latin phrase which meant "The eagle does not catch flies" (huh?). Jack responded with a Latin phrase of his own, translated as "The two of us could get fired." (What?) Where is Murray the Cop when you need him?

A comcast cable commercial, this guy imitates the sound of a dial up modem, imagine Jim Carry in Dumb & Dumber asking, want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?

Her female co-workers all gather around and start cooing and fawning over this teddy bear. I've seen this commercial about 15 times today, and each time it gets more irritating.

These two little kids are inside a booth with a man operating the crash test course, and the kids demand that the guy press the button so that they can see Toyota siennas crashing. Yes,but consider this: Someone who thinks they may actually have genital herpes might see the ad and start thinking' I should get this taken care of so my(husband,wife,significant other)does not end up with this' And many folks are reluctant to take meds for genital herpes because many traditional antibiotics have NASTY side effects for some folks....

I hear ya, Maxwell. I think those ads are tacky too. ::) If there really were an orange grove on the other side of the supermarket, wouldn't you be exposed to the air outside? Furthermore, in reality, in that section of the supermarket, you usually have an area behind the shelves where the people put the OJ and milk and other cold beverages, to keep them cold so they don't spoil.

I do.  There hamburgers are the best; real beef, tasty, more beef then bread.  It beats McDonalds any day of the week.

Maybe they had a bad variety.  I would never suggest that.  Carl's Jr. has a good variey, but then they are a west coast chain.  What works on the west coast may not work on the east coast.

You're not missing anything, Jeff.  I can only speak for the Hardee's in Alabama and Florida, but they have about 5 different burgers to choose from, one chicken sandwich, and some chicken strips. :P

This ad for skin doctors featured a man asking for directions on his cellphone while he draws a map on his wife's leg, which has varicose veins. She's so mad she leave him in his car while he says, "You must be proud of me asking for directions, aren't you?... Honey?" It was funny at first, but now I find it cruel. No man can be that idiotic. >:(

However Bravo does have its hilarous adverts. The injury ones.  I wet myself every time I see that man fall down from his wooden ladder. 

For the people who haven't seen this (mainly people out of the UK) a man on a wooden ladder installing a fire alarm to the outside of a house.  His ladder actually slips down the wall and he goes down with it.  It's so funny for the wrong reasons.

The other night while I was watching Jeopardy, one of them came on, where the kid flings his bat so that it shatters the glass window behind him. That's pathetic. :P I'm with you, though; anytime I see a bad commercial, I like to switch stations. But I do want to make sure that I'm back at the original station when the program comes back on.

Anyways being a gamer I don't mind videogame ads BUT I don't like the sneaky tactics that the armed forces use to lure young recruits. Lately they have been modeling military commercials after videogame. One commercial I saw looked like it what snatched right out of Halo. what makes it even worse is that they flood G4TechTV with them. >:(

Don't know if they have been mentioned before, but here are my 5 picks. 1. Infomercials ( a parodoxical name as usually they provide little info ). 2. Commercials for some new-you-don't-really-need-this medicine-but-it-cures-this and has about 12 side effects WORSE than what they are supposed to cure. 3. Mc Donald's commercials ( their slogan " I'm lovin' it when spelled without contractions is an anagram for " ailing vomit ", fitting since that's exactly what I suppress the urge to do when I when I think of McD's ), plus they are plain stupid. 4. Those Vonage phone commercials-that " woo-hoo " crap got old about 3 seconds into the first commercial ( GREAT way to insure I'll never switch to them. 5. Commercials for feminine hygiene products ( isn't that the job of a mother? ) A dishonorable mention goes out to the Girls Gone Wild series of commercials as well.
