Have you ever seen someone try to pass a car or bus on the right, when they are supposed to pass on the left? Well, some ditzy person tried to pass the bus I was riding on by passing on the right...she hit the side of the bus, denting the bus' middle entrance door(where the wheelchair lift is, also used as an alternate exit when the bus is crowded)and losing her car's front fender in the process! Lucky no one got injured...

That's so funny; I see it all the time!! It's not like they're on vacation in Mexico and are buying something from a street vendor! What you see is what you get!  Don't like the price, go to Wal-Mart!

I'm too lazy to login, but I got really annoyed today at my oldest's baseball game.  The kids on the other team were UNBELIEVABLY RUDE!  Since we were the visiting team, we were sitting on the 1st base side and the 1st baseman was making some rude comments to/about HIS OWN pitcher.  I told one of the other moms that if he were MY kid, I'd pull his butt out of the game.  Their catcher was arguing with the ump about a "dropped third strike" call and another kid was trash-talking our players on 2nd base.  I was slightly less annoyed when one of our kids hit a "true" (over the fence by about 20-30 ft :o) grand slam to take the lead, then struck out their 3 batters to end the game.  We won 13-9 :)

the fact that my 3 sister-in-law's seem to compete with each other. When one got married...they all got married...when one got pregnant...they had to hurry up and get pregnant.     So it's like 12 degrees outside right now, I froze my nuts off at work tonight, and yesterday my car's battery died and I wound up being 2 hours late to work because of it. I hate having to stand outside in the cold and scrape my windshield off, I hate having to walk gingerly everywhere so I don't slip on the ice and fall on my ass, and I hate driving when the roads are all icy. And I really hate the fact that my apartment doesn't have washer and dryer hookups and I have to drive 6 blocks down the street to do my laundry.
    So I go down to my apartment complex's laundromat, throw my clothes into the washing machines, and I come back to my apartment and put my key in the door when I can hear some music faintly playing off in the distance. I pause and listen for a second. And then I can hear it.  "IT'S THE MOOOOST WON-DER-FUL TIIIIIIME OF THE YEAR...."
      I hate that song. It's one of the stupidest songs ever. It makes me want to kidnap Andy Williams in the middle of January, drive him up to Duluth, Minnesota, and then force him at gunpoint to strip down to his underwear and stick his tongue to a flagpole and then make him sing that song. Keep in mind that I'm no Scrooge and that I can get into the holiday spirit as much as anyone, but Christmas is only one day, and I guess New Years Eve is cool too, but after that then what? 3 more months of winter.
      I mean, I'm no weenie and I can handle winter just fine, but for the most part it's a pain in the ass and it certainly ain't the most wonderful time of the year.

Bunch of idiots.

I'll sign.....I see people I want to run off the road on a daily basis ;D  Like the idiots driving 45 (in a 65) in the fog yesterday.  Now, I don't have a problem with going slower when the weather is bad (I wasn't driving as fast as I usually do), but for god's sake, if you're going to drive THAT slow, get BEHIND the car also going 45, not NEXT to it so people driving faster than you have to slam on their brakes and almost cause a MAJOR pileup >:(  It took about 2 miles for this idiot to finally slow down and get behind the car it was previously next to ::)

I drive down the tollway every day and there are TONS of semi's and almost every day, one of them pulls into the left lane doing about 60 (the speed limit is 65).  Does not make the person driving down the road at about 75-80 very happy >:(  A friend of mine who drives a truck says it's because they don't like to "cancel" the cruise control and I asked him how they think WE feel when we have to slam on our brakes ::)

I'm a very timid drive, unfortunately. I'm kind of scared of driving and riding in automobiles in general due to being in a wreck about 15 months ago. I get terrified when I'm riding in a car and it starts raining because my wreck happened in the rain. I completely clam up and zone out.  :-\\

I'm going to look into using public transport as much as possible when I get to Miami.

Public transportation in Alpharetta is practically non-existent.  To get anywhere around here, you have to drive.  MARTA in Atlanta isn't all it's cracked up to be either.  You pretty much have to take a train to one stop and drive to get anywhere else.

People who are in the left turn lane, and they get a green arrow, and they hesitate anyway for about 5-10 seconds, not realizing that there's 3 or 4 cars behind them and that if they don't go right away, someone's gonna get screwed.

People that are pussies about merging onto the freeway and who timidly creep along until they get to the end of the on-ramp and then come to a complete stop, instead of hammering on it and accelerating until they match the speed of traffic and smoothly blending in like they're supposed to.

People who drive like they're terrified of their own automobiles. I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but I think that timid drivers are far more dangerous than drunk drivers.

Y'know the type, its the people who just have to put the rubber divider between your few things and their few things. I mean god forbid they touch.

I know the purpose of the dividers are so the clerk doesn't include and ring your stuff with the guy/lady behind you, but do you really think the clerk is going to mix up my can of Spam & six pack of Mickeys Malt Liquor with your two Lean Cuisines, freeze dried wheat germ, Tampax and that pack of alfalfa sprouts? ::)

(and yes I do occasionally drink Mickey's, bad habit from college, I make no apologies for the Spam)

Actually, I do that all the time -  ;D I just do it as an indicator that I'm done with my stuff and the next person can put their stuff down now. I always thought it was a courtesy more than a hinderence. I like it when people put one down for me, as well.

see, I do too...because I've had, on many occasions, the clerk start grabbing the stuff behind mine....so I do that so that they know where my stuff cuts off.

I agree, hopefully they're too stupid to utilize any of this info, but the fact is my check is in the hands of a bad guy so tomorrow morning we're going to the bank to close the account and reopen a new one. what a hassle, but seriously worse for our friends that had the breakin. that sucks.

Recently I had the checkout divider separating my order from the last.  When the dumb cashier scanned the first guy's last item, I removed the bar.  She immediately started scanning my stuff onto his tab. Never overestimate powers of observation.  From then on I've waited until the foregoing customer gets his receipt before picking up the bar.  Not to malign all supermarket cashiers, I was once one myself, but most of 'em ain't Rhodes scholars!

internet dating is weird. when you meet for your first date, it's really more like your... zero-th date. because it's not like you met socially and decided you liked each other and wanted to go out for coffee or have lunch or whatever after conversing in a non-romanticized environment. the whole milieu is... awkward, and she could be having all sorts of problems with it that don't even have anything to do with you. the whole internet thing is just... weird.

at this precise moment it is one of the senior members of staff who has given me no notice about something that is happening tomorrow.  I only found out because someone mentioned it in passing.  It gives me hardly any time to sort everything out.

I am extremely annoyed at one of the lecturers at the moment.  He asked me to bring some equipment to his lecture.  His e-mail said he would lecture for 40 minutes then after a break he would need the equipment.  I spoke to him just before his lecture to clarify that I intended to bring the equipment into the room during the break.  I waited outside the room for half an hour only to hear him say to the students "Well, I don't know where Karen has got to".  Waiting outside like a dumbass for the students to leave on their break!!!!!!  I went in and said I was outside waiting and he said "I expected you to just walk in"
