December 26th, the day after Christmas, is know as Boxing Day.

Boxing Day does not refer to the sport of boxing, rather it refers to packaging...as in placing items in boxes.

Boxes can be made from cardboard.

Cardboard boxes are very common in today's world. They are used for packing and shipping, as well as for storage. You can also recycle them, especially when they get old and worn out.

"Get Here" is a pop ballad written by American singer/songwriter Brenda Russell which became an international hit via a 1990 recording by Oleta Adams.

Oleta Adams also lent background vocals to Tears For Fears' 1989 release The Seeds Of Love. Her backing vocals can be heard on the tracks "Sowing The Seeds Of Love" and "Woman In Chains".

"Chains" is a song composed by the Brill Building husband-and-wife songwriting team Gerry Goffin and Carole King and was a major hit for Little Eva’s backing singers, The Cookies (#17 U.S. Pop, #7 R&B), and later covered by The Beatles.

The Beatles also recorded a cover of "Twist And Shout", which was a hit for them in 1964, but it was originally recorded by the Isley Brothers, who released their version in 1962.

King Creole is a 1958 American film directed by Michael Curtiz and produced by Hal B. Wallis. The story was adapted from the Harold Robbins novel A Stone for Danny Fisher (1952) and featured Elvis Presley, Carolyn Jones, and Walter Matthau.

Walter Matthau costarred with Jack Lemmon in a number of films, including the "Odd Couple" series, the "Grumpy Old Men" series, as well as "Out To Sea."

"Again" was the name of an early 2000s hit song by Lenny Kravitz; at the 43rd annual Grammy Awards, it won the award for best Male Rock Vocal Performance; it was the third straight win for Lenny in that category; he won another such award a year later for his song "Dig In."

A Christmas poem I know well is "'Twas The Night Before Christmas"...when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
