Tonight I do not plan on watching any TV, since I already watched the Giants-Dodgers game earlier. I was glad to see the Dodgers win two out of three.

"Turn To You" was a song by the Go-Go's, but it wasn't quite as big a hit as some of their other songs, such as "Our Lips Are Sealed", "Vacation" and "We Got The Beat."

"We Got the Beat" by the Go-Go's is still a fun and upbeat song to listen to today.

Today I still love that song. I was about 2 years old when it came out, but I don't remember listening to it for the first time until the 1990's, when I was in my teens. But I think I knew it well by 1994 or so.

By 1994 or so, I had stopped listening to new Music.
Subject: Re: Fantastic word game
Written By: nally on 09/22/09 at 9:58 pm
New music was what I primarily listened to back then...as a matter of fact, beginning in that year, I got into the new music (mostly pop and Top 40). Of course, I was 14 at the time, and kids in their teens are usually abreast of the "current" music acts...which in the mid-1990s included groups like All-4-One, Collective Soul, Weezer, and Ace of Base.

California also became home to the Dodgers after the 1957 season was finished. They had been known as the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the Giants were known as the New York Giants. When the New York Mets came along in 1962, they adopted orange and blue in their team colors to honor the Giants and Dodgers (respectively), who had called New York home until they moved to the West Coast.
