I won my first Baseball game in over 6 months

I earned my first gold medal in training... dodging 90 stupid tennis balls the boxing coach threw at me...

Oh my heck!!!  That one was so good!  Honestly, that might be the best show ever.

I played myself at Tennis... My MII on both sides of the net... it was hard..

I won  a best of 5 match in tennis by winning the first three matches  (not against myself..for real)

I bowled a 187

and... well I think that's about it  ;D

in the Wii Sports menu they have the list of all the games... then under the picture they have a barbelll and a graph...

the graph is a Wii Sports fitness test... they give you 3 challenges and assess your age based on how you did...today I was 34.

the barbell is the training session... there are three different training games for each sport (so 15 in all) this is supposed to help you perfect your skills....

the best game is the 91 pin bowling game.  but the one I'm talking about is the boxing game that teaches you how to dodge in boxing..

just to kill time....  I don't know if I have these in the right order... just telling Sami what different things she can do in training.


Wii Sports Training... TENNIS

1) returning the ball  - they hit the ball and do so continuously until you miss or hit the ball out of bounds

2)returning the ball to a specific location.... they hit the ball to you and expect you to get it into an orange target area....I totally suck at this

3)target practice.... you hit the ball at a target to break it and reaveal your next target.

Boxing...

1) dodging - coach throws tennis balls at you and you try to duck the heck outta the way

2) punching bag- hit the punching bags until they are knocked off their chain and another appears...I like this.. my record is 20

3) directional punching.... the trainer holds up a hand and you try to hit the mitt he's wearing... I hit him.... a lot.... that's bad.  ;D

BASEBALL-

Homerun.... try to hit balls out of the park.... they pitch ten balls to you.. my record is 7

Batting practice... the pitcher throws 30 balls in succession and you try to get a hit... my record is 23

directional hitting... you hit 10 balls,  4 should be aimed straight down the middle of the field... then three aimed to the left and three aimed to the right.... I totally suck

BOWLING

91 pin bowling... the pins increase in each frame... 10-15-21 etc... until you have to try to knock down 91 pins in the last frame... my high score is 531


spares... a game that teaches you control... you pick up various spares... I think I have a high of 7 frames..... it gives you something like 5 chances to err.


spin control..or something... there are barriers on the alley and you have to bowl around them...

:D  Who knew - and how did I miss it (well honestly, I am normally playing this with 2 girlz trying to kick my ass)

GOLF

putting..... sink the putt...various distances, and grass conditions...


getting on the green... from various distances (same holes as in the golf game so you play all of them...) you try to get on the green at each hole  the score is added by calculating the distance from each hole....  if you miss the green entirely you get an automatic 100ft penalty.


Target.... my other favorite game.... from one spot you're hitting the ball onto a target... 10, 25, 50, 100, 50, 25, 10  (those are the points on the target)  anyway various wind factors increase difficulty.... you're trying to get the high score...I think you get ten chances...

my friends made me drink warm mustard water.... the results were a little too successful....too bad we were in a dennys  ;D  I feel sooo bad for whoever had to clean the bathroom  :D

btw Q the advice about maybe needing an inhaler was good.  Dai had a lungbusting cough that went on for a couple of months.  He ended up on inhalers for a month or so and it went away.

I'm foregoing all the whisky suggestions tho...guess some of my friends forgot I've been sober for 12 years...  :-\\  for some reason I can handle drugs (including cough meds) just fine but have no resistance to alcohol...one drink and I will at the bottom of a bottle again and it was not a good thing.

I meant 13 years... and one month.

Perhaps they haven't realised that it really isn't something you can have at all.

I think a few people go through a stage of drinking a lot but then can stop and just have the occasional drink.  They may not have realised what a problem it became for you

no I've been pretty honest about it... my drinking was always out of control but the last two years were the worst... and although not everyone who commented knows most of them do they just forgot or something.
