We're always hopeful, and speed skating is indeed our strong point. Most likely to win a few medals (of any color) is Sven Kramer - especially strong on the 5 and 10km.
But we might also be able to surprise people on the 2 men bob this year. With a brand new sled, Edwin van Calker and Sybren Jansma recently ended third place in a World Cup event in St. Moritz.
Of course there are others as well. Maybe Nicolien Sauerbreij (sowboard) will finally get her act straight...

My kids first starting 'jinxing' people about a year before we moved out here.  And I mean ridiculously doing it all the time.  Like if they started singing along to a song on the radio one of them would jinx the other!

I hoped it would die a death when we moved here but they just learnt several variations of it.  The first one being "Jinx - you owe me a soda" and the last one being that rhyme about the jinx machine.

FYI - if you have automatic headlights... the taillight does not turn on during the day (and if it is foggy - this could be a problem) and if it is foggy with snow, it may be just bright enough that no lights will turn on. 

This is an argument that I had with my husband, I wanted him to turn on the headlights today (because we had serious fog, down to 1/3 mile visibility) and I wanted to make sure people could see us .  He stated the automatics were on (figures a man trusts a machine) - I had to prove to him that this does not mean taillight are on :P
