Arggh. Proper schedule clash on Monday morning. How can I watch NFL and listen to MLB at the same time?!

While doing dishes and driving in rush hour traffic and changing diapers, while juggling sharp knives on fire (and blindfolded)

he called me a half hour ago,he'll be busy tomorrow so he wants me to call him Monday to let him know my schedule for next week.

This is how much I have left till Pathmark closes:

Sick 16
Vacation 40

All those meetings ended up being for nothing since the union didn't get their way.  ;D

The last thing Local 700 sent in the mail was accusing my store's corporate level of using scare tactics, which wasn't even the case. They even went to the labor board, but withdrew the petition yesterday. The vote would have been today.

My union is the campus clerical union but dispatchers aren't secretaries.
We should be in a different union but we're not. The unions been negotiating a contract for about 5 yrs. They don't care about dispatch issues because dispatchers make 5-20 dollars more an hour than a secretary. Now the union has teamed up with the teamsters.  ::)

The thing with retail is that unions are usually not needed most of the time. Something really unjust would have to be happening to make a union option more preferable.

But considering the union that tried to get into my current place of employment lied to me in the past(saying my signature wasn't a vote, because of that.. they got in without the need of a ballot at Cub Foods... Is that even ****ing legal?). The Local 700 has also been pretty quick to organize strikes and considering how much they make a year from all the dues they collect.... Forget them!
