It is much like a dog show, based on conformation and breed standards.  Structurally sound and puts on weight well at a good rate of gain...  because they are beef animals, not pets. Or some heifers will be shown in breeding classes, that they will be good future cows.  Does this help???

Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies with my girls - well really Triple Chocolate Chip cookies - they are chocolate base (I only had Choc. pudding - no vanilla), with Chocolate chips and White Chocolate chips  8)  Addison got to learn fractions, we all got to eat dough, and life is feelin good ;)

It's one of ours - actually Izzy (in the vintage pictures I posted).  She wasn't feelin so well when we came home on Sunday, so we treated her and penned her up.  But Addy's heifer Cherry was also in the pen, but she was a little bossy (and being 1,000 pounds heavier - she get's her way).  Izzy ended up not being able to eat or drink.  So I told Addy to just bring her into our backyard - all fenced in and plenty of shade and grass.  LOL - so she is there and she is lovin it.  She comes to greet you when you come home, she plays with the girls in their play house and she sleeps in my butterfly garden. ::)

I love frozen green beans but only if they've been cut french style.   I steam them with just a bit of sugar--- cuz I gots to have my beans sweet.

Corn nuggets sorta taste like - scalloped corn or corn pudding or corn casserole - not sure what you call it ???  They are awesome sort of have a cornmeal breading.

Deep Fried Mac and Cheese  - or Mac and Cheese bites, are really good - especially the place that has the goood mac and cheese (like homemade) and they put the cracker crumbs on them and deep fry them.  (What???  Wait... You don't like cheese - you eat mac and cheese :o)

Deep fried dill pickles are awesome, breading and dill pickle - LOVE em.  If they are in chip form instead of spear form - even better.  Especially with some ranch.

I like sweet green beans too - we make them with brown sugar, bacon, minced onion and a touch of vinegar (for just a little tang) - and everyone raves about them (my secret recipe)  ;)

Yep - that is what I am doing too...  He is outside right now running around, he told me where my hairspray was, I told him it was in the bag so that it went with - he said oh he wanted to make sure I knew where it was :P
