Have I ever mentioned, I have performance anxiety - heck I can't even pee if there is someone in the room.  I am not a relaxed and comfortable person.

But you have to buy toilet paper, bread and milk in case!
I guess.  I keep my pantry stocked. I buy toilet paper by the case (Sam's club) and I buy more when I am down to my last 9 rolls.  Bread, I have a spare in the freezer (or we can make it without), and milk (I always have canned for cooking if I have too).  Most houses can survive, for 2 days without something.

Between Costco and the grocery store my wife buys so much food and toiletries that we're good should we ever get a winter storm. :P ::) :D

My girls heard there was an earthquake in Illinois this morning, and my girl immediately thought of grandma (my mom) and was worried about her.  They associate all earthquakes with Haiti right now.  So we had to call mom this morning at 6:30 and make sure she was alright.  She did not even know there was one (and it was about 45 miles from her)...

Thanks, the only thing I can say is I really do love him.  I just am really missing my friends right now (and they all seem to be in Illinois still), and other things I know.  He has his whole family here, the school system he grew up in, the country he is used to, and I wonder why am I doing this....

I can't even imagine.  When my mom married my dad she left Holland and came to the states. Barely spoke English and he got shipped off to Nam.  I know she's been homesick the whole 42 years they've been married. When house reno finally get's done (whenever that is, one carpenters mom is on her death bed, and the other ones dad just died :P); we will finally have 2 bedrooms upstairs and a common room and bathroom (all for the girls) - and we will have both bedrooms downstairs...  hopefully one get's turned to an office, and I can get my sun room/3season's porch back 8)

I refuse to go to the market before a major storm - cause I hate the craziness....  For god sake's people you do not have a storm cellar, and if you did it should be stocked anyway....  YOU will survive.  Now this is not taking into minds, the people who are disaster preparing (hurricane, flood-although I think it foolish to stay in your house) - yes those can last for days - and people need to take measures.  Most snow storms (even terrible ones; only last a few days - and with today's road crews we are back and running shortly there after)

^BTW - terrible sentence structure - not sure what is happening to me (taking lessons from the kids I teach) :P

I feel so bad for you Karen!  Clearing snow is the crappiest thing in the world.  Seriously!  At this point, I pretty much refuse to do it.  No joke.  I always tell my husband that he's the man, and it's his job.  I do all the cooking and cleaning, he can clear the damn snow.

In a way it would be easier if it was the loose snow.  But we get our driveway ploughed so he leaves a layer a fraction of an inch deep but nicely packed down after he drives all over it.  So I have to really scrape it off.

One of our project managrs has leather chairs in his office and if you are wearing jeans and you rub a certain way you can make fart noises.  I do it all the time on purpose.  After each one I make "aaaaaahhhh" sounds.  It disturbs the heck out of him.

It does.  I had a message yesterday and one today.

I interviewed somebody yesterday that stunk and was wearing a sweater so ugly I am still offended by it.  THe stink was obviously becasue she smokes or lives with people who smoke in the house.  Disgusting, ever since I quit that smell may as well be dog poo.  The sweater was from the 80s.  I probably wouldn't have liked it then.  All I could think is "if that is her interview outfit, how bad is it gonna be on a regular day?"

Unfortunately no, I can overlook an ugly sweater but the smell was nauseating.

I've have had to buttercup myself, I couldn't tell if they were stinky and I was going into a meeting so wanted to be sure......  They were.
